I'm sure many here have been watching this, or have watched it. It didn't seem to appeal to me so I didn't watch it until I got Netflix and tried it just for the heck of it.
Geeez, Peg Bundy is quite a gal.

My son Eric plays one of the Asian gang bangers in the I believe 4th or last season finale.  He's the dude holding a machine gun on one of the sons, he gets shot in front of the chinese restaurant.  That was the only episode I ever watched.

I have watched every episode and I think it is a very well written show.
Of course it is just fiction, but it is well researched bit of fiction.

But then I also liked "Breaking Bad" too.

Sometimes it troubles me to see where George and I have differing opinions.

I watched an episode now and then.  I found it to be stupid and very, very unrealistic.  I wondered who was the idiot providing advice on how to make it believable.

Different strokes.

Reality lifetime movie dregs with some gratuitous leather violence thrown in.

Good thing about Netflix is being able to fast forward through most of the twaddle.

As I also did with the tosh dialog betwen Walt and his wife in Breaking Bad.

I'd like to suggest watching

Underbelly

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underbelly_(TV_series)

The English version of "House of Cards".

All English episodes of "Top Gear". The American version is awful.

'The Killing".

Wallender.

Back when it was running, my son kept recommending it. I'd catch a couple of episodes, but just couldn't get interested. My opinion pretty well matched what you posted.

But then ....

He brought home the boxed set and I agreed to watch the first couple of episodes with him. The wife and I got hooked and pulled several marathon nights of SOA until we caught up with the actual season.
You've got to watch this one from the beginning if you want to enjoy it. But, you'll still need a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief.

Started watching it at the beginning.  I tried to like it, but it wouldn't hold my attention.

We watched every episode. Katie Sagal should have won awards for the work she did. I also read all the books about guys going undercover to infiltrate outlaw MCs.

I also enjoyed HBO's Deadwood.

Me too.  One of my all time favorites.   I have a Harley t-shirt from Deadwood.
A guy at work saw it and asked if I ever watched the HBO series about Deadwood?
He also really enjoyed the show and was sad to see it go off the air.  I will admit the show was not for everyone, just like SOA.

Apparently Sherif  Seth Bullock was placed into suspended animation, and revived in the year 2010 in Lexington Kentucky where he became a U.S. Marshal. If you liked Deadwood, you'll probably like Justified.

Unfortunately, the series finally is in two weeks.

Speaking of Justified in an S. O. A. thread, didn't Boyd have a sister who lived in Charming?

I watched Justified before SOA.

When "she" appeared it made me laugh.

saw most of the episodes and most were pretty well written and worth watching.

Who is to say it is way off of reality, has anyone on here been a member of an outlaw biker gang?

Peg bundy is not that hot.  I wouldn't tap that even when on TV show Married with Children some 20 years ago or so.  Christina Applegate is nicer.
