Pickup wouldn't start this morning so got the Valk out to go feed my cows instead. Glad I did as I was able to catch the sun rising over South Dakota. Sometimes you just gotta stop and take a picture!

Thanks for the kind words guys! Smokin'Joe, I'd love to clean my wheels but living down a dirt road it always seems like I'm pissing in the wind everytime I do them! Shocked

And don't leave hats gloves glasses and bags on your bike anywhere when you take such a great picture! Hindsight is 20/20 as we all know.

Hey Oss, they are Howard's Horns Dynamic Duo. 115db or 130db depending on who's review you read, they are definitely loud though!
Only thing I don't like about them is I can't mount baker air wings with them there, hence the fork deflectors.

What are air wings gonna do but keep heat against you?

Ever rode a bike with Baker Airwings ? They work great in the cold ( closed ) to block the wind , they work great in the heat ( open ) to move that engine heat away from you.... One of best things I've added to my bikes.

The main reason I was interested in bakers was to stop the wind that comes over the tank and up into my face. Wether bakers are the answer or not I'm not sure though.....

Although not speaking from experience, I hear that the memphis shades front fork deflectors remedy most of the wind coming over the tank.  The Baker air wings help more so the sides of the bike on your knee area.

I have bought used for around 70 bucks the black and chrome dual howard air horns but haven't mounted them yet.  Trying to find a good location, can you send a pic or two of mounting location and how you wired them, much appreciated!

On the interstate wings when its really hot I sometimes take the fixed piece off and store it in the saddlebag

Only takes a minute or 2 to do.   Yes you will get a little more air buffeting but when its that hot I dont care
Would rather ride in 34 degrees than 90 degrees 90%humdidity anyways

I have seen Valks with the  big air horn going right thru that fixed part of the wing
