gas leak on interstate

My 2000 interstate sat all winter (no gas leak) and I started it a week ago and ran it a short time. Now, a week latter, it is dripping a steady drip of gas from the bottom of the left muffler. I can't seem to locate the source. Any help is appreciated. Carbs were rebuilt in 2014.

My guess is that it's leaking from somewhere up stream but if it's coming out of the end of the muffler then don't try to start it.  Pull the plugs and see if there is any fuel in the cylinders.
You don't want to get Hydrolocked and do serious damage.
If you are lucky it's dripping down and off of the muffler on the outside.

Did you put any type of stabilizer in it last fall?

Sounds like you have a float or 2 stuck.

Drag out the B-12, give it a healthy dose, make sure no fuel in cylinders.

Tap each carb a couple of time to hopefully knock that chunk of dirt off so it will close.

Just tap the starter after ya put the plugs back in, if it turns over a full revolution, go ahead and attempt to start it.     Get a good dose of that B-12 in her snoot and let her set all night.

I put stabilizer in last fall and the carbs were just rebuilt. I can't see any leaking above the drip which is where the headers meet the pigtails. The headers drop pretty low compared to where the leak is so if that header is full of gas that's a good amount. I shut off the petcock but the drip continues.

Fuel rails? Left side is the low side so you gotta trace it to its origin.

I'd give a good look at fuel rails as well.  My rails were leaking badly after it sat for a while and it took a while to trace it.
