Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: April 05, 2015, 05:33:51 PM »

Took a ride over to Deal's Gap today with my ridin' bud and his new to him low mile Yamaha Warrior. Left the garage this morning with heated gear it was 32 however it turned into a beautiful sunny warm Easter Day. We hit the four lane through Knoxville ( Pellissippi Parkway ) and twisted them up too three digits from Knoxville to Maryville those Warriors will haul ass.

Several folks out riding today but we had two awesome runs at The Dragon. The Tree Of Shame is getting full ( that's a bad thing ) . Even after all these years I only know ( 3 ) with parts on that tree and that's a good thing considering how many times our group has played on The Hill over the years.

" The Money Shot " ... Taken at The Bridge To Nowhere <<<< Not a official name but that's what I call it cause its a bridge and it goes nowhere..... Awesome ride today and I made it back to my daughters just in time to hide eggs and grill some cow parts.

I wish I was closer to that part of the country, about 1000 miles away.  I did visit my sister/brother in law in 2012, the week after Inzane.  They have a home near Robinsville NC, that is 18 miles from Deals Gap.
A fantastic week of riding after a great week of riding in Arkansas...

Good report Joe and Glad to see larry got his ride. We did about 500 miles this weekend and just to go eat in Foley Al and we stayed the night and did it all back roads which is not normal for us but it was nice and sunny till the last 50 mile rain storm.

Rode out to Timbrook to get the heated grips working
It only toook them about an hour or so.
It only took that long because I told them what was wrong
and how to fix it. Got to love having a warranty.
Was a great ride to Cumberland and back. Sorry that it
was only 200 miles. Am really loving having a true cruise control
and such a smooth riding bike. Thinking now maybe I should have
gotten a full wing and just lowered it.
