I'm so glad I restored my exhaust to stock.

No drone, so quiet and I can hear everything the motor and tranny are doin' now.

Yes it is nice to ride in quiet sometimes.  My 2005 Goldwing is completely quiet when we are riding it but I still really enjoy riding my loud Valkyries.  If I could only have one bike it would be a quiet bike.  I never really like the sound of my Black and Tan Valkyrie that had the piggies cut out, but when I changed to a Valkyrie with a deep Cobra sound or Mark T exhaust I really like both of those sounds.

I just re-converted one of mine back to stock, it's nice.  No drone.  I liked the way the bike sounded going through the gears, but the drone just overwhelmed it.
