There is no magic to this issue. Maybe the most active members post the most and many of those posts are political. Don't read the political posts and start a new Valkyrie posting of your own, especially it you have "something to talk about". I don't ride as much as I did in the past but I do enjoy the adventures posted SmokinJoe, Strider, HotGlue and on and on. If you feel like there is too much political discussion, give us something else to discuss. Be a part of the solution! Most of us too old to be such whiners.

If we survive Obama, Bam Bam.
I would love to have Hillary, go back home to New York.
OIL, Car Tires, Harley Love, and New Valk or Old Valk or F6B, or well there are other things.
Like Secretary watch.
Inzane, if the weather is OK.
Hillary does not have a chance, she is the sacrificial Lamb for the dems.
It's gonna be Ugly.
She is a unelectable nitwit, like Al Gore.

Sorry Big Al, but we don't want her back in New York either! She is not even from New York, she only moved here a few years back so she could win an election in what is one of the most liberal states in the US. It was either here or California. Unfortunately, with 8 million people in NYC, mostly liberal, the rest of our beautiful state doesn't stand a chance in the electoral process to throw down a democrat. Don't get me wrong, it sometimes happens, like when we get some boneheads in office, but it's rare. She has not only done nothing for us, but I'm still waiting for her indictments on her email fiasco and on Bengazi!

It's really the only way that the forum will survive. Many here have little else to talk about. Sad.
This forum and group survived 8 years of Bush quite easily... yes its Bush's fault...... Under former President George W. Bush, 575 American soldiers died and fewer than 3,000 were wounded in Afghanistan. This means under Obama, at least 1,405 soldiers have died and nearly 15,000 additional soldiers have been wounded, which means 70% of the deaths and nearly 80% of the injuries in Afghanistan have occurred under Obama’s watch. more U.S. soldiers have been killed and wounded during President Barack Obama’s first term in office than former President George W. Bush’s two terms. And the anti-war mainstream media that regularly counted the number of deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan under Bush, for the most part, has been silent on the number of deaths and casualties that have resulted under Obama. Because Obama is a Democrat, the media has been reluctant to shine more of a light on Afghanistan’s destabilization under Obama. Perhaps the media is afraid that such reports would make Americans question whether Obama has mismanaged the Afghanistan war like he has the economy. Or maybe the media does not want to report on anything that would make Democrats seem weak on national security, as was the case when Bill Clinton was president. For whatever reason, the mainstream media is not reporting the striking increase in deaths and casualties in Afghanistan under Obama, again helping Obama through their omissions. http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2012/09/11/mainstream-media-ignoring-increase-in-deaths-wounded-in-afghanistan-under-obama/

Hillary's List of Lies. Do you trust Hillary Clinton ?
Pew survey indicates America does not trust Hillary, Hillary only scored only 44 percent in latest poll about trust, the lowest rating for any candidate for any attribute in the poll. Hillary simply cannot tell the truth. Here's her scorecard: Admitted Lies
• Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.) • Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she lied. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.) • She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.) • She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn't cover the market back then.) More lies: She didn't know about the FALN pardons. • She didn't know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted. • Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error. • She didn't know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so. • She didn't know that the Peter Paul fundraiser in Hollywood in 2000 cost $700,000 more than she reported it had. • She opposed NAFTA at the time. • She was instrumental in the Irish peace process. • She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda. • She played a role in the '90s economic recovery. • The billing records showed up on their own. • She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke. • She was always a Yankees fan. • She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons). • She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there). With a record like that, is it any wonder that we suspect her of being less than honest and straightforward?

I'm really not. I have a deep disgust for the divisiveness of all political parties and because history has shown us that the two leading causes of death are religion and politics, I have chosen a much more karmic path of life. I have absolutely zero political leanings, do not feed into angry hateful discussions, try to see things objectively and above all else, try to become a better person by helping those that I can help. No political affiliation, religious affiliation or tinfoil hats needed. That's why I'm called the Alien (a nickname I held long before I ever got on a bike), I don't fit into any of the neatly prepackaged categories that make it easy for others to label me, therefore I am an outsider in their eyes. It used to bother me right up until I realized that I'm happier than most people I know. Ride Safe, Alien

Don't know if you are funnin or not but if not you got a screw loose He has a screw loose? AT LAST....something mechanical to talk about. Ok, here is what you do. First we need the proper tools. Someone to hold the subject firmly. Get an eleven in one screwdriver set. Select the proper eleven in one head and insert into head of screw. Now hold screwdriver firmly and turn the subject counterclockwise til the screw is tight again. There....now you will vote republican again. Now....isn't that better.

If the willingly ignorant are able to comprehend this it may give them pause for thought.
However I fear that is unliklely.
In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members...
It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well, effects American security.
This is a very difficult vote, this is probably the hardest decision I've ever had to make. Any vote that might lead to war should be hard, but I cast it with conviction."

Not repeat what I just wrote, regardless, we all know there are those that just don't care. They are lining up to support and vote for her. There are some running like idiots chasing the scooby van while she refuses to take any questions. Damn the facts, we don't need no stinking facts. Lets invest in rose colored glasses stocks. There seems to be a lot of us that really don't need to care. We're old enough to probably not have anything effect us much personally. We'll survive relatively intact. But, Apparently many of us care about what happens to this country and of those who will have to live in it in the future.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/eric-zuesse/why-hillary-clinton-shoul_b_4293469.htmlsounds just like obumer while he was in the senate. On 28 August 2006, the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition headlined "Senator Hillary Clinton: All Show and no Substance," and the well known government whistleblower Sibel Edmonds, along with the organization's board member William Weaver, condemned her as: "an elected senator who has served six years in her seat, never taking a strong stand in support of her constituents on any serious or controversial issue; a senator who has used her record-breaking TV public appearances to say 'nothing' ... an elected official who has no record of conducting investigations into cases that are matters of great concern to her constituents and to our country ... a politician who has spent all her focus and energy on a campaign of shallow publicity glitz." Examples cited included James J. DiGeorgio and Carl Steubing, who "were subjected to illegal drug experimentation by employees of the Stratton Veterans Affairs Center in Albany, New York; killed by servants of the very government they fought to protect. Scores of other veterans were injured in these experiments. ... Between 2000 and June 2006, numerous contacts with Senator Hillary Clinton over the Stratton tragedy went unacknowledged, or glossed over. ... No less than five Clinton staff members heard presentations and received documentation about the experiments, and Senator Clinton is personally aware of the detailed facts of the case. This personal knowledge did not translate into action. ... Senator Clinton's failure concerning Stratton is not an isolated event; it is part of a pattern of studious avoidance of principled action in the face of serious government misconduct, and the refusal to come to the aid of those people who expose the misconduct." Among the cases also discussed were: Bunnatine Greenhouse, Sergeant Samuel Provance, and Russ Tice - some of the most egregious examples of whistleblowers whom the Bush Administration wronged. Hillary Clinton bent so far backward to win the support of Republicans, that she should have made a Yoga video, but all that she thereby gained (besides support from a large number of Democratic fools who believed - if they believed in anything - that win-at-all-costs was what politics was all about, and that democratic principles don't really exist) was increased contempt from Republicans. Click on this, and you'll see who owns Hillary Clinton; it's what you would expect from what I've just reported. But if you're too tired to click, here it is, pasted below: Hillary's corruption goes beyond that, however. When a fascist putsch, a coup d'etat, overthrew at gunpoint the popular progressive democratic President of Honduras on 28 June 2009, and all countries of the world except Israel and the United States promptly declared the junta-installed government illegitimate, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to join all other nations in rejecting the fascist regime. As I previously reported this matter in detail, the U.S. Ambassador to Honduras told her in a cable, that President Manuel Zelaya had been illegally replaced by the junta-appointed stooge Roberto Michelettti, yet she still refused. The Ambassador's urging to her said: "The actions of June 28 can only be considered a coup d'etat. ... It bears mentioning that, whereas the resolution [by the junta] adopted June 28 refers only to Zelaya, its effect was to remove the entire executive branch. ... His forced removal by the military was clearly illegal, and [puppett-leader Roberto] Micheletti's ascendance as 'interim president' was totally illegitimate." However, instead, she joined with then-Senator Jim DeMint (now head of the Heritage Foundation and the chief sponsor of the political career of Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz) in propping up the fascist regime. Promptly Honduras descended into hell, suddenly having the world's highest murder-rate, and becoming a haven of narco-trafficking. What was Hillary thinking? She expressed contempt for Zelaya, but what was really happening here was that American international companies liked paying their Honduran contractors sub-human wages to workers at their plants in Honduras. The Honduran aristocrats owned those factories, and the U.S. aristocrats shared with them the profits from this "free-market" slavery. What did Hillary care about the ongoing terror, murders, and soaring narco-trafficking? Furthermore, as I headlined on 11/11/13, "The Kochs Have Bet Big that the Earth Is Doomed," and I documented that the Obama Administration were fighting to help them win that bet. Hillary Clinton had been part of that effort. As I reported on 26 March 2013, Hillary Clinton's State Department produced an environmental impact statement on the Koch-proposed Keystone XL Pipeline that was a triple-hoax: It refused to estimate the impact that the Pipeline would have on global warming; it was itself subcontracted out to an oil company services firm; and that petro-friend subcontractor had no climatologist. The coup de grace of her sell-out on global warming, however, might be this:

Otherwise this forum will run out of things to talk about. The problem is that our Valks are so damn reliable we have lots of time to obsess over politics and such. Go Hillary! Would you be so kind as to post a list of the political accomplishments Hillary has achieved so we can understand your enthusiasm for her. Thanks. Still crickets Britman, I think you completely missed the gist of trouthunterjohn's message, and actually made his point: If there wasn't complaining about about Democrat politicians, there would be far less content on the board. The content that would disappear isn't the stuff I typically read anyway, so Hillary's impact (or lack thereof) on this board doesn't concern me.

I no longer initiate any political posts but will contribute to any.

Unfortunately, the subject of the thread remains.
