shopping for a new front tire on line I saw the attached add. Note the valve stem clip is just hanging. My first valk front tire mount they threw mine away at a dealer not to be mentioned.

If you still use these things don't let a third party mess them up. Steel stems are cheap.

I'm one that doesn't have much of a problem with OEM style stems and clips as long as they are  constantly looked at and maintained and the stems replaced with every tire change. I also hold the stem while checking and/or adding air.

I'm not one that would trust the dealer to replace them without adding a drop of paint or somehow mark the old stem beforehand.

I do have aftermarket steel/metal stems that will go on someday.
