Is this one of these Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo Mama Mama the Harley people won’t wave at me.  Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo Mama Mama the Harley people won’t hug me!!!

This is America!!!!!  You can ride what you paid for, or did somehow, we lost that right. Often people accuse and complain about Harley people’s attitude and remarks, which in turn, they are doing the same thing they are complain about.  The way I see it when people attack, needle, and make crack, bully, whatever you want to call it, puts up a red flag.  My question!!!  Do they make you feel inadequate, may be you feel threatened by them?  Life is not about “My dog can eat your dog” or My Daddy can beat up your Daddy” So which is it????  Don’t be afraid, they are just regular people, trying to hammer out a living, and enjoying it the way they choose. I don’t own a Harley, from time to time I ride with them and never had issues with them on my choice of motorcycle, My Valkyrie.  Who cares if the Valk is superior or not, that attitude tells one something about the one complaining about it. Get over it, get a life, go riding!!!

Always loved ol David Allen Coe.  I remember him fondly at the old Gilleys country and western club in Pasadena, Texas his concerts were always intense. You had the hard core cowboys that hated the hard core bikers and in the middle were the hippies that were scared to death of both groups lol you just had to be there. A different place and a different time the mid 70s.

Last time I looked this was a Honda Valkyrie board, says right at the top "Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club"...You guys that use to ride valks but have moved on, ask if we'll still ride with you, we say sure we don't care what you ride...but when someone jokes around about Harley's you take it personally and then start attacking us because we don't support American workers etc, last time I looked my valks are made in USA, or that our bikes break down too....all machinery breaks down sooner then later.....you want to stay friends with the folks you met here, do so....but don't come here telling us we're not good americans become we don't support a company that makes Harley's, that probably has half of its parts made somewhere else....try joining a Harley riding club on valkyrie and it wouldn't matter how many of your friends were Harley riders they wouldn't let you in... Angry
cooldude  All the add on parts and the Harley Clothes are made somewhere else. I rode Harleys for years so i know. Well said Highbinder.

Big Al, I wanna go fishing. Closest water here is 2.5 hours away.
Any body wanna bash because I live in the dry?
One day at work I was parked by one of my friend's Harleys. We were leaving at the same time.
I raised up in the classic kick pose, followed through and hit the fun button.
He looked at me so weird. It was hilarous. Give it a try.

David Allen Coe is one of those folks either love or hate.  I fall in with the former.  He sure as hell ain't afraid to speak (and sing) what's on his mind.  And I love my Valkyrie, too.
