I'm getting an error message

No site configured at this address

All other web pages I use seem to be A OK.

I've tried rebooting my PC.
I've tried "selecting" Google as my home page - which is how I had it set up.

What browser are you using? Firefox, IE, Other? If you're using Firefox, have you tried IE, and vice versa?

If Firefox, I'd try clearing cookies, cache, etc (You'll hafta re-enter passwords to sites that remember 'em in cookies (Like this one) after doing this)

Quote
try to clear cookies, cache and Browsing and Download history from Firefox button > History > Clear Recent History > Time range to clear select Everything > click on Details and check Cookies, Cache and Browsing and Download history > Clear Now and check it again.

IE has a similar "Reset everything" option but I can't recall exactly where it is off the top of my head...

Just cleared IE. Didn't help.

I'll run a couple of other freebies and see if that helps at all.

Posted 4/21/2015  May have some bugs in it since this is the first day...

Google is making a rare change to its search algorithm tomorrow—one that has the power to dramatically alter a site’s ranking in Google’s all-important search results. SOUND THE ALARM.

The change is really pretty simple. It’s designed to make Google’s search results more useful for people using it on their phones. Starting tomorrow, the algorithm will reward sites with “mobile-friendly” designs and push down those which aren’t optimized for mobile viewing. What, exactly, does a non-optimized site look like? Well, think back to the last time you tried to view a site on your phone and found yourself zooming in and out, trying to find the right button, or failing to view the entire page. In short, it’s annoying, and it’s something Google is now doing its best to stamp out.

It’s a shift that has been in the offing for months since Google announced it back in February, saying it would “have a significant impact in our search results.” But as the date for implementation has approached, discussion of the change has reached fever peak—it even has its own panic-inducing nick name, Mobilegeddon, which seems a tad over the top

Careful... google has a few i's dotted and t's crossed that some others might not.

I just mistyped a seach on duckduck and got nothing.

I mistyped the same search on google and got "did you mean [the right thing]?"

When I insisted that google search only on the mistyped term, it found some
(probably other people mistyping) that duckduck did not.

I agree.

The Google presentation is very eye friendly as well.

DDG reminds me of Ask Jeeves.

There is always dogpile. I am not aware of any search engine that leans to the right, it would seem there is a new market calling. Oh wait, we are all dinosaurs.  Angry
