Today is the Day

                                           Today I feel grateful and blessed

This is my 87th birthday (AND I'm still around.)

Some of my hair is still in place.
I've only gained 4 pounds since I retired in 1991.
My body is working reasonably well.
My knees have somewhat recovered from being obstinate.
My kids are all ok and my three daughter-in-laws and one son-in-law are great.
I'm still riding ,just not as much or as far but that's ok too.
All of my wheels are paid for, no debts.
I'm still active in the New Haven Board of Works and also Board of Elders in my church.
I still hobby in photography and the shooting sports.
I'm not rich but have enough to keep me happy.
Hopefully, I have made many friends, many on this board.

Overall, it's not a bad Life.  If the weather warms up today., I will be doing a birthday ride with my friend, the Vstrom..

I wish all my friends here the same.

Well Wayne, it's good to hear another candle has been added to the cake. Remember, the more b'days you have, the longer you live.    You now have 10 years on me, I'm hoping to reach that milestone one day myself and still be active. Continue on the same path you've been following, it appears to be working quite well. Maybe one day, we can again sit and sip like we did in Michigan, solving the problems of the world.
