Switched insurance from State Farm to American Modern Select, and saved about $200/year on my '03 Tourer, for the same coverage.  Asked me if I was a member of American Legion Riders for some reason.  I'm not, probably saved me some money.  I am the Commander of the Sons of American Legion, Post 134, but not in the Riders.  This company specializes in motorcycles, vintage and antique cars, and RV's, and ATV/UTV's. Easy to do business with, on-line app, then a phone call to complete.  Sent my insurance cards immediately.

never heard of them, good to know, is it a 1-800# to call and how do they rate in terms of business rating, A or A+ or ?

As soon as my car or home or cycle rates go up more than say 10-15 bucks per premium,  I call around and shop for the best deal since never filed a claim in nearly 30 years of driving and 21 years of owning a home.

Isn't it surprising when you call some of these insurance companies how much some of them think their insurance is worth?  I called on my 1104 sq. ft plain jane ranch home and one company told me over 1 grand for basic home insurance vs. the normal 300-400 bucks per year, same apples to apples policy.  I just laughed and said thank you and hung up.

Cut my insurance bill in half for same coverage for a year.  New premium is $264, which includes replacement value for my DropTail trailer as well.  I got the info from this forum, about a year ago there was a thread about it.  Went online and filled out ap, then called the 1-866-884-6167 number. I was already in their system, gave them my quote number, VIN, and Drivers License and had immediate insurance, took about 5 minutes.  Very easy to do business with, emailed me my stuff and ID cards within about one minute.  They do zero advertising.  Going to also switch over my RV.

I've been using American Modern since 2008. I price check every year and they are the best.

Good price on your insurance.
Just be thankful that you don't live in MI, where we have the highest rates in the country regardless of your driving record.

I just thought my State Farm policy was a little high, and when I saw the post a while back I thought I'd give them a try, did not realize it would almost cut my premium in half for the same coverage.

If you're not price shopping your home, car and bike insurance every year I think you are throwing money away.
