Yep....because if you made a comment about one race Without looking at that photo closely, you probably would have been.   I think I see white, black and Hispanic in that photo....and based on other visible features, I think there might even be some of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith.  Not sure if there are any of the Polish, Australian, European nationalities tho....but there could be.

Nope....didn't say they were "all" lawless.   But I am talking talking both police and protestors....and if you assumed that I was pointing at all of the officers then it goes to show there is validity to the perception.  I've said it before, and will say it again.....if the law (police and government law) don't "police their own" clean their own ranks and prosecute the bad ones, it will come to the point where the people will.

I believe they are.  The officer who shot the man in the back has been charged with murder.

The officers involved in this case have been suspended, pending the outcome of the investigation.  The investigation is not yet complete, it takes a while.  I believe if they find wrong doing, the officer or officers will be facing charges.

I think the "police their own" needs to apply to the civilians too.  As long as the general population seems to think that the police are the problem, and not the lawless among THEM, it will continue.

4 years ago today we were hit with tornados and were out of power for about 9 days ( damnit JOE)  there was a local store owner that camped out in his store because he didn't want to be robbed this was the second night of no power ( there was a dusk till dawn curfew except to and from work) the owner even went so far as to pull his car in front of the doors where they would have to come over the car to break in. Well what da ya know two teenage (18-19) boys break the front door,now with the car parked there you would think they would have or should have known someone was in there they were both shot and killed and the police never filed a charge on the store owner. And there was no national media coverage or rioting over it . The little bastards got what was coming to them. And there were no other reports of looting or B&E during the following days

Could not believe it, the Police were under attack by a mob throwing chunks of concrete and bricks, which should have been considered deadly force and the Police were in full rout, running away.  That kind of response does nothing but embolden the baddies, and encourage more of the same.  Kill 20 or 30 of them and I guarantee it would put a stop to this nonsense.  Of course if your agenda is to convince a certain segment of the population that they are victims and always will be, and don't deserve to be punished for anti social behavior, then this stuff gladdens your heart.

The jerk on the right isn't helping by taking pictures. The Governor has called out the national guard,whoppie. Are they going to protect the city and themselves? This kind of crap is why I think some people will think twice about becoming a law enforcement officer. 

I've seen it locally on the news a few times and now a few police officers are being charged with murder more than likely.  One is sort of just being accused, since the officer pulled out his pistol vs. his tazer by accident and shot and killed a black guy running away from him, I believe unarmed as well. 

Accidents do happen though as we all know, but an accident/mistake an officer makes could cost him not only his career, but being locked up in jail for the rest of his/her life.

Yes looters look like looters, rock throwers look like rock throwers.  Arsonists look like arsonists.

Nobody is going to justify what happened to Freddie Gray. But that does not excuse the behavior of these animals.  15 officers injured, who knows how many civilians, and businesses burned and looted. This is no longer about mr. Gray.

As for what happened to him, it is well to remember that the tone of a police department is not set by beat cops, but from the top. That means the flag rank officers of the police department up though the Commissioner or Chief, and stopping finally at the Mayor's office. The cop on the street doesn't get to decide how much and what kind of training he gets. The money is allocated by the Mayor and City Counsel, the priorities are set by the Commissioner or Chief with "suggestions" from the Mayor who appointed him.

So ultimately, the same Mayor who decided to "give space to those who wish to destroy" is the one who set the tone and circumstances that brought about this tragedy in the first place. What we have here is a massive failure of leadership. Giving in to the animals, hoping they will eventually be satisfied has never worked in the history of the world. It's amazing then, that "progressives" continue to push that plan.
