Yeah, sort of.  I have Sirius/XM on my Zumo665, feeding into the audio on my std.  Setup issues would be about the same.  It feeds into the mini-stereo input port of my sound system, the same as any mini-stereo input I expect you have on your IS.  This same port will accept any mini-stereo input from any sound device.  I expect your issues will be mounting your radio, and mounting your antenna if it's separate.  I used Ball mounts for both.  Garmin supplied the mount for the Zumo, And I adopted one of their mounts to make the antenna mount for the Ball mount.  The antenna needs a clear view of the sky - a better view than the Garmin needs.

Yes.  First I did the wireless (tuning to a chosen station on FM), but the hardwire to the Aux input is more reliable and a bit more volume.  Tweaking every conceivable radio setting (including fade full to front with no trunk or trunk speakers, I listen to it with the radio volume at about 26-28 of 30 (running down the road) (never quite as good as FM with a good station, but good enough).  I have an old Roady XT (in mint condition).  Not glove friendly, but I generally set it to one station and leave it.  It will still go in and out in the mountains or under trees.

I put a ball mount with the radio crowded up against the left handlebar radio controls (might as well be all together), and plunk the magnetic antenna puck on a little shelf that comes with the setup. No need to run it out the fairing vent or anywhere else (it doesn't get better).  Occasionally, I block the antenna with my hand adjusting a mirror.  I have two power ports in my fairing (one each side)

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of mounting in the trunk with the antenna on top of the trunk. Like Jess I would mostly leave it on one station, so access while riding is no big deal.

I have done it for years.  On my std, I put the antenna on top of the mirror, magnet mount.

On my IS, I just set the antenna on top of my stuff.  Works good.

My Garmin 665 has XM in it. I hooked it up to my Wing to the AUX input and use the wing volume control. You'll probably want to change channels sometime. Find a RAM mount for the left handlebar.
