Latest is that Gray hurt himself.

Video of Gray getting in van shows him able to move and speak.  Video of the 4 stops the van made were obtained and demonstrated the same.  At the 4th stop, another of the well behaved is placed in the van, but separated by a partition.  This other man says Gray was trying to hurt himself.  This was before part of the police report was leaked in which the van driver said the same.  Now, of course, the other guy in the back is walking is statement back, slightly.

Video demonstrates arresting cops did no wrong.  Now all eyes are on the driver, who says it was a smooth ride.  But, Gray was never belted in.

Part of autopsy report leaked as well indicating Gray had damage to his skull in the shape of a bolt inside the van.  They didn't say which bolt or where the bolt is located.

Heard another plausable scenario.  Gray was an asthmatic.  He could have suffered an asthma attack which can possibly set off a seizure.  A seizure could explain his thrashing himself around in the van.

Unfortunately, even if any if this is actually true, the narrative has already been written and shouted.  Police suck, need to be totally overhauled (as the president states with no fact in his pocket again), black lives matter, and young black men should not be harassed because they live in high violent crime areas.

And now Al Sharpton is advising the Mayor.  Sharpton was also on Obama's committee to stop this kind of stuff (yea, right, escalate is the better word).

The Presidency that was supposed to unite us has turned us against each other and those who selflessly choose to protect us.  Our own governments are destroying us from within.  And I bet they elect another Democrat when this is all over.   Why not, they re-elected Marion Barry after he was filmed smoking crack in one of NJ's famous "No Tell Motels" with prostitutes. They might even re-elect this mayor after Sharpton does his thing.

Update.

Murder charges filed against LEO's.

Charges filed still doesn't mean the cops did anything wrong.  A true story.......A friend of mine when he was a cop had to shoot someone.  As he told me the story he was confident at the time of the incident that all was according to the book.  As soon as all the facts got laid out his dept charged him with murder.  He freaked out but was soon calmed when is Captain (or boss, whatever) assured him he would be found not guilty and assure no future charges for murder could be trumped up.

Not saying this is the case here, but it could be........those fine details are not usually made public.

I haven't seen any news today but yesterday they were saying they found a stop at a convenience store that the cops didn't tell them about.

The truth will come out.  If it was indeed murder, the cops deserve what's coming their way.  If not, they deserve a long paid vacation, a public apology from the mayor and their jobs back should they want them.

Now if they'd only charge all the arsonists, looters and brick throwers they can identify.

Saw an interview with that famous coroner Boden (can't remember first name).  He says no way a person could sever his own spinal cord the way things have been described.

Filing charges may help squash a lot of the anger right now.  I hope.  But heaven help us if they find them innocent.

It still looks as if Grey was having leg troubles before he was stuck in the van.

All he had to do was comply with the officers rather than try and run. He apparently has 20 arrests for drug dealing/using and is a convicted felon that served 2 years.

Of the 6 police officers arrested and behind bars, 3 are black, 3 are not black.

The riots, errr, protests have spilled over into Philly.  I just hope they don't bother Pat's or Geno's.

Just trying to figure out, some sort of logic, theirs or ours, which ever works. Now understand, police officers job, he don't flip burgers, deliver mail or do anything safe, may be.  His job is basically being a target, he never knows when he walks up to a car, what will happen. Job seems very stressful, especially if you look at the two officers in I believe, in NY that, basically got executed in their car. Now people that live in hazardous neighbor hoods demand protection, and when police react to the situations, those same people want to hang the police out to dry, if the police don't perform miracles, the way I see it. If it were me, I would just walk away from them, and let them sort it out, and they can deal with their own mess if it occurs.

I am not a racist here (but label me that if you must) I agree they shouldn't be harassed but why allude or flee from the police if you have done nothing wrong? Who's fault is it that they live in high violent crime areas?(not mine) and as far as Sharpton goes he is the lowest form of human excrement,a total piece of floating bowel waste that has nothing better to do than stir the crap pot.

Yep, pretty much how its been since I got in it 23 years ago (cursed if you do, cursed if you don't)...... But over the last year.......... x1000!!!!

Today, I stopped caring about my fellow man. I stopped caring about my community, my neighbors, and those I serve. I stopped caring today because a once noble profession has become despised, hated, distrusted, and mostly unwanted.

I stopped caring today because parents refuse to teach their kids right from wrong and blame us when they are caught breaking the law. I stopped caring today because parents tell their little kids to be good or “the police will take you away” embedding a fear from year one. Moms hate us in their schools because we frighten them and remind them of the evil that lurks in the world.

They would rather we stay unseen, but close by if needed, but readily available to “fix their kid.” I stopped caring today because we work to keep our streets safe from mayhem in the form of reckless, drunk, high, or speeding drivers, only to be hated for it, yet hated even more because we didn’t catch the drunk before he killed someone they may know.

Nevertheless, we are just another tool used by government to generate “revenue.” I stopped caring today because Liberals hate the police as we carry guns, scare kids, and take away their drugs. We always kill innocent people with unjust violence. We are called bullies for using a Taser during a fight, but are condemned further for not first tasing the guy who pulls a gun on us.

And if we do have to shoot, we are asked “why didn’t you just shoot the gun out of their hand?” And when one of us is killed by the countless attacks that do happen (but are rarely reported in the mainstream media) the haters say, “Its just part of the job.” I stopped caring today because Conservatives hate us as we are “the Government.” We try to take away their guns, freedoms, and liberty at every turn.

We represent a “Police State” where “jackbooted badge-wearing thugs” randomly attack innocent people without cause or concern for constitutional rights. We are Waco, Ruby Ridge, and Rodney King all rolled into one lone police officer stopping to help change an old lady’s tire. I stopped caring today as no one wants us around, but instantly demands answers, results, arrests, when a crime takes place.

If a crime isn’t solved within the allocated 60 minutes it takes CSI on television, we are inept, incompetent, or covering something up. If we do get “lucky” it was just that and everyone with a Facebook account can post wonderful comments of how “they” would solve the case and how “we” are not nearly as clever.

I stopped caring today because a video of a cop six states away, from a department that you never heard of, screws up and forgets his oath of honor, thus firing up an internet lynch-mob of cop haters even though 99% of us work twice as hard not to end up in the news and to still be “the good guys.” We are “militarized” because we wear body armor and Kevlar helmets when shots are fired or rocks thrown at us and carry scary looking rifles even though everyone knows that they are easier to shoot and are more accurate than a handgun or a shotgun.

I stopped caring today because the culture of today’s instantly connected youth is only there to take and never give back. To never accept responsibility for ones actions, but to blame everyone else instead of themselves. To ask “what is in it for me?” versus “what can I do for you?”

To idolize gangsters, thugs, sexually promiscuous behavior, and criminals over hard work, dedication, and achievement. To argue that getting stoned should be a right, yet getting a job or an education is a hassle. To steal versus earn. To hate versus help. Yes, I stopped caring today.

The way I was brought up, before I was allowed to drive, my Dad gave  advice. Basically it was, no matter how much a police officer is a dick or acting pissy to you. You never mouth off to them, take your medicine for what you did, and you will treat with respect. Or you will not drive!!!  I am 67yrs old and never had an issue with them, and I use to hang out in Detroit. I am not innocent, I have got into some nondestructive mischief, but I danced to the music, and had to pay the fiddler.

Was listening to talk radio in the car this morning and one of the mouths said the same problems exist now that existed 30 and 40 years ago and was asking when will they ever be addressed?  I answered him out loud and said "Never".  Here's why:  The cities in which there have been riots and civil unrest, failing schools, failing social programs, gang infested, etc., are under dem/lib rule, and most with black administration.  Obama has been Pres for almost 7 years.  And nothing has been done.  He's made speeches blaming everything and everybody else for what's been happening, but never once said that young black people should practice birth control, practice self reliance, get educated.  Instead, at a graduation speech, Mrs Obama laments over being watched in a store by a security guard.  There are stores in NY that chain sports jerseys to the racks, but further out in the suburbs, where the racial makeup is different, no chains. Why is that?  Why aren't they stressing behavior, hard work, diligence, etc.?  Things that will allow people to grow and succeed?  Instead, they blame others.  It's sad.

I dunno.  Maybe I'm getting too conservative in my old age.  Had a talk with a guy at work who believes cops are the professionals, therefore they should know exactly how to handle every situation.  If a police action is underway, say something happened on a train platform and cops were called.  They arrive to a mob scene on the platform with a train in the station and the train is packed as well.  All they have is a vague description, so they round up 5 or 6 guys who fit.   All young black men who refuse to listen to anything the cops say.  They yell and curse at them, stand after being told to sit, etc.  The cops then pull an innocent guy off the train who immediately jumps into protesting, but in a slightly over the top fashion that escalates up and down, but appears aggressive to cops at one point so they get physical, overly physical, and while on his stomach, the young black man is shot by a cop and dies.  I blamed the victim and the cops, my coworker blamed the cops.  The cops were trying to figure out what, who, when, how, on a subway platform that's full of people with cameras, yelling and screaming, and the people of interest at the moment are yelling and cursing and disobeying.  No, nobody deserved to die.  Here's the heart of the disagreement -  My opinion is that in certain situations, we lose our rights to be assholes and loudmouths.  During police happenings should be one of them.  My coworker agreed that you lose the right to yell Fire in a theater, but thinks you shouldn't when involved with police.  We do have rights once placed under arrest, but when the police are trying to figure it out at the scene, I believe if a cop says to stand somewhere, you lose the right to say No.  30 years ago I might have thought differently.

G-man I think you summed it up perfectly.when I was younger and even today if an officer tells me to do something I will listen(I may not agree but will listen but that is the way I was raised) but they are not raised to respect anyone or anything. How can they expect anything to change when they are not willing to change themselves.

Most folks on here know what I do for a living. I'm a  police. I have a home in Baltimore and my daughter lives there. I'm a police officer in Washington D.C. I saw the comment about targeting Black Males on here. I have a question for that person. If the neighborhood I patrol is 98% black who else is there to target as you say. You think some Asian guy or white guy is coming into  the neighborhood and committing the crimes. I'm not targeting anyone the black males in this area are committing the crimes period. Yes I may lock up the occasional white kid coming in from Virginia or Maryland for buying drugs. Believe they are easy to spot. Before you jump on the bad wagon of us targeting black males for no apparent  reason other then they are black come walk a beat in my shoes and then make your comment.........oh and by the way O.J. did do it.

If you are referring to my post where I said that young black men shouldn't be harassed because they live in high crime areas, I was stating their narrative.

I think we all can put 1 and 1 together with common sense and know why profiling MUST occur in order to be effective.  And in black communities, it's even tougher because for some stupid reason, too many kids proudly emulate the thug culture.  So, how's an officer supposed to identify good from bad when they act, dress, and speak alike?

BTW, saw a Dodge Challenger in the Home Depot parking lot.  It was an SRT1 in B5 Blue.  Same color as your Valkyrie.

Ha, finally getting a taste of what they wanted. It's too bad for the people that live there that count on the police to protect them, but them seem to have been out voted. Now they can kill and rob and beat each other till their hearts are content. Running around like a bunch of wild monkeys stealing bannanas and fruit from the village people that work for it.

OOOOHHHH Thats a good one^^^^^^^^
The dream is coming true. Lawlessness. where it counts.
My son one day proclaimed he wanted to live in a town with no cops. I asked him why and he said something like he could do what ever he wanted. When I splained so could everybody else and it would probably be the nicest politest town around, he wondered why. Because, son, when you steal a candy bar, and the store owner shoots you, nobody's coming.
Nobody's coming. Congrats.
