Caribbean Queen is flying in to Rapid City with a stop in Denver first on Sunday.  She's getting in very early afternoon and OSS and I won't be there till around 4ish.  Is anyone else flying in to Rapid City?  Anyone renting a car at the airport?

so I guess that means you want to leave friday and not saturday?

I had planned on Sat but since you are needing to stay out of trouble with the Queen
I will leave Friday morning with you

Looking forward to another epic adventure !

Will be packing a spare alternator and battery charger just in case in addition to the air compressor and other doodads.

and yes, the heated jacket liner is coming as well

Not flying in, but I will be at ground zero on Saturday afternoon. I know there will be will be several vehicles at ground zero and I would be willing to borrow one of those vehicles and pick her up at the airport, if need be.    Raymond

Yo, you starting to get dementia ole man (not old)?  We had this conversation before and you said 3 days was good and said we'd stop in Fort Wayne first night and Omaha second night and that I'm going to like the road from Omaha up to South Dakota.  Is that the road Strider was speaking of in another thread?

I'ma gettin' exited ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !   cooldude   cooldude   cooldude

Spearfish is about a hr from the airport. Its a small airport and you should be able to park right up front. Its free at rally time.
2 easy ways to get thr. 90 to 79 south to 44. Few miles outside of town. If you want to avoid the traffic take 90 to Boxelder. I think its the first right but the road parallels the airport with awesome views of the rolling plains. If in Boxelder and you see the Belle Star gentlemens club you went to far!  2funny

There's traffic in SD other than around Black Hills Classic dates?

Man, this is like OLD TIMES around rally time!  People posting routes, departure dates, roads to ride, helping one another out!  Man, when you are sitting in Ebolaland, you sure dig reading posts like this!

G-Man, see ya up in Spearfish brother (been way too long my friend) and I can't wait to FINALLY meet the Caribbean Queen after all this time!

Oss - ya know I love ya brother!  Safe winds!  Pictures along the way please!  cooldude

OSS don't stop for pictures.  He can't tap his foot impatiently (while waiting for me) and operate the shutter button at the same time.   Grin

This should be an easy one, though.  A little more than 600 miles a day is a piece of cake for us.  Head out after sunrise and pull in well before the sun goes down.  We can even enjoy a little of the nightlife, Friday in Fort Wayne and Saturday night in Omaha.  Two places I've never been.
