...While looking for custom part prices last night, I came across this seat,
which is the same one I have. I thought they were long gone, was surprised
that they are still available. This is the same seat I bought back in 01, when
I bought my bike, and still have. It is well made with a vinyl top and heavy
leather skirt, and decorated with chrome studs and conchos.

I only paid around 250 for it 13 years ago and was very surprised that its
still only around 300 today. So if you,re looking for a new seat for your Interstate,
I highly recommend this one, an excellent seat at a great price.

Glad to see that there is still some Hondaline accessories out there! I am even happier to see that you are still around to look at them.  cooldude

A while back there was someone posting about making a fender rail because there are more from Honda.  I guess that never materialized.

Having to purchase an aftermarket seat for a vehicle, for comfort, is just plain wrong.  I can see doing so for performance or  a styling preference, but comfort should be something the manufacturer shoots for.  At Inzane, you might see 10 stock seats and two of them are gonna buy an Ultimate because their butt got burned on the way (that's exactly what happened to me).  Great for Des, he deserves it, but terrible for millions of riders.  The manufacturer is already making (or buying) the pans, the foam, and the covers.  How much more could it possibly cost to use better foam and covers?  Maybe $100 per bike?  Probably less.  Yes, I know all asses are different, but they all do have something in common, they all hate the stock seats.

There's a new guy here (or on FB) just bought a 2015 Valkyrie and had to stop on the way home from the dealer because his butt hurt.  So he started a thread about seats.  Goit tons of replies.  All seat posts get tons of replies.

I've replaced every stock seat on every bike I've had, for comfort.  Never replaced a car seat.

This is just my opinion.

....Thanks Dave, we endeavor to persevere.  cooldude

...just trying to get some sort of "list" created for ammunition to battle
this "adjuster" tomorrow. Bought that seat when I first got the bike back
in 01 and it served us well, and was extremely comfortable. And to me
it seems to be a bargain, when you compare the price to what other
manufactures want today. Hope you are enjoying that F6B..

...And I agree G Man, especially for the money they charge for these machines.
I was very surprised back then that this seat was so cheep and amazed again, when
I just came across it, because not only did I think it no longer existed, but that
it seems to be manufactured by Hondaline and is ONLY 300 bucks...

....in my book....thats a helluva bargain ! ..  cooldude
