Wow, someone stole it.  Maybe the new owner will bring it to Inzane and let us all take a spin!

Bummer for Mike. Great bike.

I wonder if someone on the forum got it.

Strider

It shows on my end that there was only 1 bid....WOW!

I wish I would have had the cash lying around. :coolsmiley: It's a great bike, but it's kinda limited in what you could do with it. Not really a everyday rider so to speak.

I did receive only a single bid and must sell the bike for $10K, as much as it hurts. The buyer knows he stole it. I only hope he will ride it that way because he will have a blast. Contrary to the earlier post,  the bike is fun and okay to ride daily providing you do not go long distances. I was okay up to about 30 miles or so. At this time I can not disclose who the buyer is. He or she may or may not decide to do that. I will only say that I doubt that the bike will be seen at any future INZANE event. For that I am sorry. Those that took the oppoortunity to ride it last year at INZANE where blessed. Those who passed will not get the opportunity again. That Valkyrie brought smiles a mile wide to myself and many others.  :'( :'(

Well, 30 miles? I guess your definition of a everyday rider and mine are a bit different. :coolsmiley:
Sorry it went for lower than you wanted. Will miss having it in the VRCC family.

Tell you what jimmytee, the 30 miles or so was only my comfort level on this bike. Not that the bike would not go farther if a rider wanted too. If I did not want to go faster than 108mph in an 1/8th mile without the nitros, does that mean the bike is really not fast so to speak? Where is the line in the sand that a Valkyrie can be driven every day or not anyway? What constitutes a everyday rider? There is no reason what so ever that someone could not get on this bike, start it and ride it everyday. While having a hell of a lot fun doing it mind you. This bike can be riden as much or as little as wanted. The many poeple that did ride this awesome machine know it can be riden anytime, anywhere, ANYDAY. Yes I am offended by you saying this is not really an everyday rider so to speak. I do not think you know what you are talking about. Certainly the words of a, well never mind. No disrespect intended to you, I just really dislike your accusation. I can agree to disagree on your daily rider assessment

It is a beautiful and unique motorcycle.  You should be proud to have put it together and enjoyed it for the years you had it.  I was fortunate enough to see it in person at Inzane and the workmanship was incredible.

Congratulations on the achievement. No matter where the Valk is, you can always be proud of your work on it.

Mike, I'm glad I've had the pleasure of seeing the last two of your award winning bikes in person. While I did wonder why you didn't put a Reserve price on it, I figured that would be like you to let the chips fall as they may. I sincerely hope you have many miles and smiles with that new Mustang.

I tell you what, I certainly meant no harm in my comment. I also don't see what in anything I said would cause you so much distress. :o I never once insulted you or your bike. I did question your definition of a daily driver. and if that's how you call it, that's how you call it. I just would not agree with you. Does that make the bike you owned any less?

You agreed with my assessment in your acknowledgement that your comfort level was limited to 30 miles or so.
That my friend would qualify for my description of not being a daily rider all by itself.
I never questioned the bikes mechanical integrity. I think you're making a bit more out of this than what it was ever intended to be.

I told you if I had the cash I would have loved to own it. How much more of an endorsement do you need? sheesh  :-\

Thats sad -- the parts and work alone are worth close to $10K
