great ride

Just got back from a great 6 day ride.

Started out from northern Chicago area, headed south cause the weather looked great for the next 7 days or so,Got just south of Luville Kentucky, hit alittle traffic due to derby there. Kept going the next day, down into Tennessee, took a side trip to tour the Jack Daniel plant, that was fun,then went into Georgia Just north of Atlanta to visit a friend that I hadnt seen for 15 years. Drank alot of beer with him, slept late the next day ooooo, got up said our goodbys and headed over to North Carolina, to ride the Dragons Tail, 181 turns in 11 miles WOW, peg to peg to peg for 11 miles, made my head swim after the beers the nite before. Back to Tenn. more riding the Blue Ridge Mts. Stopped to see another friend I went to High School with. Just had dinner with him, they were on their way to his daughters, she is due to have her third baby. Got a room for the nite, next day back to Kentucky, so we could shed the helmets. 5th day of riding in 80+ degree NO rain weather,now this is what its all about.
Watched the weather channel, good chance of rain heading into northern Ill. so we said why ruin a good thing lets head home........FANTASTIC ride................ cant wait to do another trip in afew weeks.......................... Thats my story.
