I just got an amp and want to know the basics of wiring one up. I'd like to know which wires to splice in at the radio on my Interstate.

Thanks  Smiley

I'd like to know as well.  In my Valkyrie's early life, I had an amp in a small trunk pack behind the passenger seat that I used to amp an iPod to a couple of blaupunk 4.5 " speakers in chrome housings attached to the bars behind a windshield.  I can't recall make and model of amp but I do believe is was 75 X 4 W amp but I was only using 2.  I thought for sure it was gonna sound better and louder than it did.  I couldn't even hear it at 65 mph.

depends on what you are using as the input, most amps will take your speaker out from the radio and amp that while some may require a pre amp. some have amp outputs and plug directly into some of the amps that have that ability. .cant do it over the net cause its to intensive for me to try to explain everything, but i will have you up and running in a couple hours if you bring it on over..
