Is there an app or a simple procedure to duplicate a contact to make a new one?  E.g. I have a contact for Fred & Wilma Flintstone, complete with their address, email, and and home phone number.  Now Fred and Wilma have bought cell phones and I'd rather have them as separate contacts than add cell phone numbers to their common contact information, and I'd rather not have to re-type their information or copy and paste individual fields.  After a frustrating Google search, I know there are a million ways to eliminate duplicates, but none that I've found to create them.

I have an old 3s so maybe it doesn't work the same now. But I can punch in the contact and then hit edit and change anything in there. Or maybe I completely misunderstand the question (I'm not the most tech savvy dude around)

I know how to edit contact info. I want to copy a contact into a new contact, then change the name.

I found this, maybe it will help:

First, email or text yourself the contact you want to keep. Then make the edits you want to make to the existing contact and save. Open the email or txt with the unedited contact attached and resave to your contacts. Now you will have both, the edited and the unedited contact.

There is also another way just go to the contact hold your finger on the field you want to copy a little balloon will pop up and say copy then just create a new name and paste it into the field you want.

The other way is you can have the same name but list each person under say a last or first name with the appropriate phone number under that name. You can create fields that you can put in them any thing you want.

You can also at the bottom of the screen and under edit in the contact you can link the contact with another name. So if you created say freds name in another contact and put in the phone number then link them if you pull up Freds name and then push info it will bring you to the rest of the contact info.

Under a company info I have each person listed with their name and phone number. The down side is when you call the name in directory you will have to tell the phone which number to call.

This works. Thanks.
