just wanted to share this pic of the two vastly different generations of Valkyrie motorcycles. i love them both - but i think the first generation is more elegant and timeless IMHO https://www.dropbox.com/s/46z90hk0po2lvj2/new%20school%20meet%20old%20school.jpg?dl=0- note if you don't want to use/login to dropbox, just close the window to view the pick

I am genetically old school . The rerun rarely surpasses the original Ride it, love it, live it...

The new is measurably more capable than the old, but the old looks far better than the new.
We trudge on.

T-Mann and i were talking about how sweet it would be if Honda did an anniversary re-issue of the Valkyrie and called it the Valkyrie Classic. Make it an 1832cc chromed-to-the-max cruiser with the modern tech but looks like the original Valk....it would be deadly

I wonder if a petition was circulated on the VRCC and every interested member signed it and forwarded it to them, if Mother Honda would even raise an eyebrow? I doubt it.

Sounds nice but very, very limited market. They'd lose money on it. Kinda' like they are on the new Valkyrie.
