I have a Clarion XC1410 amp that's not waterproof but the circuit board is coated. I know one guy that has had his fastened to the CB.  That would be easier and quicker than the fairing.

Anybody running theirs under the trunk?

I am also considering an amp and have also been looking on here...

Most of the posts have them mounted in the fairing on top of the headlights.... thats my plan, but probably not going to do it anytime soon..... Most of them seem to be waterproof..

Will be keeping up with this too see how it goes
