We lost another music legend. BB epitomized the Blues for many. Lucile played hundreds of skies for many, many years.
Now a permanent resident of the Blues Wing in Heaven, with so many others that have gone before

B. B. King was the reason I first picked up a guitar.  I had heard many other guitar players before I heard him, but he really inspired me.

What an entertainer.....he sure wasn't in it for the money.
I saw him when I was 15.......(I'm 60 now)...he played for more than 3 hours at the Masonic Lodge in Elizabeth NJ right around the corner from where I grew up.
He had a full band with horns, organ....everything.
He left an impression on me that has lasted a life time.
Everyone will miss him.

Had the honor of seeing him and one of his Lucilles give a FREE guitar seminar at Western State College many years ago.  I was just a young teenager.  What kind of legend travels to colleges giving free seminars?  That kind, I guess.  RIP BB King.

Freddie King
Albert King
B.B. King

Three for the ages that knew their instruments intimately and weren't afraid to show us how.
Thanks from all of us that they passed this way.  Smiley
