That would depend on what parts you will order. I have quite a few places saved in my favorites.

Need to order the right side plastic piece where the 2 throttle cables hook to the hand grip. Also going to order starter button and turn signal button. Sometimes starter button doesnt work the first time I push it. Also got to  push turn signal switch and wiggle it to get signals to blink ocasionally.

You will be hard pressed to beat ProCaliber.  I've tried multiple Honda partsfish sites, and cannot find better prices. (I feel like HDL abandoned us (after being sold), so I abandoned them)

Over 90% of the start buttons and turn signals can be repaired by cleaning a lubing them. Check in the shoptalk section for more info. Save your money.

thanks Jess on the procaliber website.  Brake pads and rear rubber shock bushings are cheaper there than HDL, plus if order over 99 bucks vs. HDL's 199 price, shipping charges are free.

I am calling on Monday first HDL since I see they state if find lower price, they will honor the competitors pricing plus give you lower of 5 bucks or 5%, but still would be cheaper with procaliber I think (will find out) since will have to pay HDL 7.50 shipping still.

Found no Honda dealer locally who will match online pricing.  One Honda dealer was close, but the other who think they are the ONLY honda dealer on the planet, was almost 2x's the price as OEM Honda brake pads (padding the price am sure to make a profit to pay for all their part time sales staff doing nothing all day long).

Called procaliber this morning, and although brake pads not in stock (have to order to get in taking another 3 days or so), was a tad cheaper than hdlparts.  I called hdl first but after being on hold for 10 minutes,  I hung up, plus doubt they would waive the 7.50 shipping charge since under 199 in price, will probably charge.  Was going to ask them, but after on hold waiting for so long, hung up.

Procaliber answered phone right away and even gave me free shipping since came up to 97 bucks total and has to be over 99 bucks.  Since the box was small to ship 2 front pad sets, 1 rear set,  and bushings,  the 2 bucks under 99 wasn't a big deal to them to have to pay 6-7 dollars in shipping charges since under 99 bucks total sale.  Good customer service on that if you ask me!   cooldude

I stuck with honda valkyrie OEM rear rubber shock bushings (set of 4) since only 3.34 each being the cheapest out there.  The stock VTX bushings were same part# as VAlk, 52489-MW3-305, so no idea on the poly VTX bushings others mentioned and where to get.  Doubt would be cheaper than 3.34 each although these Valk OEM's might not last as long, for 3.34 each, will get me by another rear tire change for sure at least.

Also ordered the Shinko SE890 Journey rear tire thru chapparal at 125 bucks, sure hope it lasts 10K like my now defunct Avon Cobra did or close to it say 9K miles.  Want to try something new and the price was right.  A couple others I know haven't had much luck either with treadwear of the Avon Cobras recently or longevity of rear tire even if only thru jake wilson at 150 bucks on sale-good price as well.

Both new rear tire on probably next week (and re-lube splines) and new rear shock bushings/brake pads all around, have my fingers crossed the front wobble of handlebars at around 30-45 mph when decelerating/coasting will be gone the past few seasons of riding been going on guessing both combo of rear avon cobra and rear shock bushings - or so I hope.  Brake/clutch fluids need changing as well been 4 years even though only slightly off clear color, can't hurt.

Will have this week limited riding since the rear Avon Cobra has 10-12 very tiny pinholes in the left center of tire loosing about 1 psi per day, still rideable, but not chancing it very far from home.  My luck, I'd have a blowout and not worth chancing it.

Looking forward one day next week to get back finally into the riding season since hasn't really started for me much yet!  Wink
