This is Honda's latest Cruiser, not my cup of tea, they seem to be aiming at the younger generation and the future....Motorcycle News tested the bike and didn't give it a very good review....it's priced at $11,000 sports a 670cc fuel injected engine...they it didn't handle well in the twisties or rough road, among other things they didn't like, including the price....they felt is was only worth $7500

The seating looks comfortable but that's about it for me.

Insightfully observed.  Not much of a surprise that those among us who are not in the target group do not find it appealing.   Wink

That appears to be preproduction model.....maybe they will get that figured out before it goes into production.

I sat on one at the international motorcycle show in January. The cut outs in the bags are for the passenger. If you look closely there are forward floor boards. Automatic transmission. If I remember it's a 650 cc.

why would anyone get that at that price over a suzuki burgmann or Honda Silvering scooter at around same 650cc engine?  Not that those 2 scoots are cheap, but cheaper for sure.

Heck, you can get the new Valk for a tad over 12 grand. Doesn't make any sense to purchase.  Roll Eyes ???

I read a review that was actually not bad. I just can't see what Honda is thinking. I'm one those that actually liked the new Valkyrie. Even though I would have appreciated a new Valk that had stayed more true to the original styling. But this is awful. coolsmiley And that comes from someone who likes far out things and SciFi.

I stopped in a local Honda dealer just to look at one of the 15 F6Bs. I was talking to the salesman and told him, I just didn't know what was up with Honda lately. I told him that if it hadn't been for the F6B and possibly the Valkyrie, I probably would have bought another brand of bike.

Pretty radical/ugly indeed.

I do see potential in the design for a new Valkyrie Interstate model.

The design has the look of a Stealth fighter, with all the angles....certainly directed to the younger generation....the motorcycle industries have been reporting major drop off in sales to the younger generation and the older guys are dying or getting older and not buying as much....

Seems to me they should start talking about fuel economy, easy parking, low prices and how much fun they will have, the same stuff that they were selling when many of us were introduced to motorcycles....it brought a lot of young people into riding....start with smaller bikes good fuel mileage, low prices....the same stuff they're selling in the third world countries...get them started... cooldude

Take a ride to Kansas, very interesting, yup very interesting....

Absolutely... I agree with you.

Years of displacement wars and prices higher than "starter cars" have driven the young out of Motorcycles.
