This one shows much more promise of being a success, even in the U.S. market.

Dual sport?  You bet!   Cool

Finally, a really smart decision from Honda. Dual sport is the fastest growing segment of the US market.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Again to each his own.

Have you ridden one recently?

I liked my KLR on and off road.

On the road in the twisties it would stick like glue. Great lean angle means good rate of speed carried thru the curves.

Sold it cause I get fed up with falling off it.

Falling off when I wasn't moving. Too tall for my feet to find secure footing on slopes.

A side by side twin?  No thanks.  If I want to feel like I'm riding a four wheeler, I'll ride a four wheeler.

I love dual sport bikes. I put 45,000 on my KLR. This bike is DEFINITELY on my radar at the moment.

  Hmmm.
                I thought Dual Sports meant

Love it. Rode dual sport bikes from 77 to 04. I learned that I don't bounce, or recover from a bounce as well as I did when younger. Sad  Finally had to stick with street rides.
I do miss the woods rides.

I consider motorcycles a sport. Most of the others only use one ball.

They have had the Trans Alp and Trans Africa, but not in the USA. I think it was based on the 750 magna motor

I saw a Trans Alp for sale on Cycle Trader the other day.
