There is one by me the price was around $14,300 I think, but out the door price was $15300 with taxes, set-up, etc. It was a standard.

If you can find out what dealer cost is on 2013, I'd then subtract $1,000 for every year the bike is old. So subtract $2,000 from the dealer cost and that would be my offer. And I wouldn't let them add anything to that price except sales tax. If they register and provide tags/plates, then they're entitled to that fee, but nothing else.

so what do they do in the 'setup' fee? Gas, check air pressure, and go? Wanna bet most dealerships don't do a thorough safety inspection on all the different parts of a used bike, let alone a new bike.
I've had car dealerships try doing that B.S. on me and NEVER have paid it on a new vehicle, nor used. Am sure they tried to work it into the selling price, but not as a separate fee ever.
14K I would think would be a good price on an F6B and 12K on a new Valk, maybe even throwing in a few freebies or at least accessories at dealer cost?

If I were to spend the money and (I'm closer than ever) I think I would spring for a little more for a 2015. Look at at these colors, the Matte Silver and blue are sharp. Plus cruise control. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=2015+Honda+F6B&FORM=RESTAB

Other than color, the big thing on the 15's is FACTORY CRUISE CONTROL.

still amazes me today that ONLY 2 color choices are available per year. So, if I wanted the maroon red color, I would have to try finding a 2013 model since 2014 is yellow/black and 2015 is blue/matte silver? Why not offer 3-4 color options each and every year? Seems to me to be a no brainer to at least offer blue, red, and black every single year.
plus, msrp is around 20K for an F6B, totally amazes me any dealer can make a dime if we are getting them for 14K or thereabouts having to drive am sure sometimes longer distances to try to find a Honda dealer willing to go down that low. 2 of the dealers locally won't even come close to 14K. Is there that much markup at 6 grand to even break even?
Look at say a 4 cylinder new car msrp of 22K. Lucky to get it at dealer cost of say 20K plus say 1 grand in rebates so about 3K (in some instances 4K) off full msrp. We did that on our 2014 new vehicle last one on lot at end of the model year msrp tad over 22K got for 17.7K out the door (bigger rebates), but that is rare-dealer wanted it gone to make room for the 2015's coming in. Having 6K off msrp on a new cycle to me makes me wonder if the msrp is way overinflated in actual dealer cost.
I could be wrong, but back say in 2001-2002 or so phasing out our Valk, say I/S model, msrp was around 15.9K wasn't it and doubt any of us got one new for 10K - 6 grand off new msrp? PLus, most are getting on the new F6B 2 grand or so in free accessories as well. Are sales of the new Honda Valkyrie/F6B really hurting that much? My guess is disposable income nowadays is not like it used to be, thus not selling like back in the day?

The dealer I bought mine from sells the 13s about as fast as he brings them in. Honda has big incentives for the dealers that doesn't leave them high and dry at those costs. The 13s and 14s were slow movers at most dealers, but they seem to be selling at the lower prices. The 15s seem to be doing better. Just my casual observation. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the factory cruise control. Honda of Russelville in AR(edited as Alasaka is just too far to go and purchase a bike I'm told ) seems to have the deals if you want some custom colors or paint. They're selling bikes with custom paint jobs below MSRP. They advertise a lot on Ebay

Not to make fun of you, but I hope you meant Russellville in AR. Not saying there isn't a Russellville Alaska, but that's a long drive to get a good deal.

The custom painted red 2015 Russellville has is sweet looking. Maybe their paint is better quality than Mother Honda. Poking around on the F6b forum I read a LOT of complaints about the paint.

The 2014 is $14,999 in Sanford, NC. Could likely be had for less. All lookers, no buyers. The salesman told me that if they sold it they would not order another. He said politely that the unique styling was not selling it.
That's funny. The dealer where I bought mine has sold many. He sells them about as fast as he gets them. Really. Mine was the first he sold last July. He sold that one because I called him to see what he could do on a 2013 compared to elsewhere that I had been quoted. He didn't have one but he said he would have me one the next day. ( Brought it in from another dealer) At the time we did this deal, he was still waiting on the 2014 F6B he had ordered. He just opened up last year. He is only a couple miles from my house. After selling me mine he decided to cancel the order for the 2014 he had been waiting on and brought in another new 2013 . He got it in on a Friday and sold it the next day. He now has done nearly the exact same thing several times. Every time he sells one , he brings in another and it's gone within a couple weeks. He doesn't make a killing on them , but with the Honda incentives he gets, he's not doing too bad either. Saw him today at a big bike rally here in E-town called the Blues Bikes and BBQ. He had another 2013 F6B there and a 14 Street Glide he had done a trade on. He actually sells quite a few used Harleys.

I am caught between the F6B and the Valkyrie, don't know which one but seeing as its not a emergency I have time to decide. The F6B comes with bags and most things that I would have to add to the Valkyrie so would it be a cost savings? Also has anyone driven both and could give kind of a good vs bad review?

I've ridden both. I was definitely impressed by the Valkyrie, but that was before riding the F6B. When I test rode the F6B, I knew what I wanted. It's more comfortable, has the bags and fairing and tunes. If you don't want those things, then the Valk is definitely a nice ride. For me I knew that those were things I wanted. I've already spent a fair amount of $ on accessories and add ons making my F6B mine. If I had chose the Valk, I would have spent much more trying to get it to just the point I started at with the F6B. As far as deals go, the Valkyries are seeing some pretty lowThe 15s do add Cruise, so that is an option.
