Does anybody have suggestions for foot pegs for kids? It's a law here that kids must be able to reach the pegs. I've done a quick search in the general forum but couldn't find anything. I recently bought an '99 Interstate but my 7 year old can't touch the pegs while riding on the passenger seat. I was looking at maybe highway pegs, but I'm unsure how I would mount them in the back where a child could reach them. Are there adjustable pegs that may work?

Temporary installation of wood blocks with a non-skid surface. The kids do not like having their legs streached.

someone makes an adjustable set for the Valk, can't remember name, but even so, I doubt it would fit the bill for someone only 7 years old unless tall pushing 5'.

Not that my opinion matters, but age 7 is pretty young to be taking very far on a cycle of any kind.  I wouldn't unless absolutely necessary, but that is just me.

Rivco makes (made?) the adjustable boards. I have a set and really like them. They look nice, are well made, and work well. They're also expensive when you find them.

My grandson is 8 now and he has been riding with me for 3 years now. When he started he was on my seat in front of me on my standard. Now that he is bigger he rides in the passenger seat on my I/S. He is short for his age and can't reach the floorboards. I cut some 4x4 blocks and tied them to the floor boards. If you have pegs it will be harder but someone on here has made pegs that that attach to the normal peg mounts. I say do what you need to make it work. Your kid will love it  cooldude

I also use the wooden blocks for my daughter, just zip tie them on when she rides and cut em off when the wife rides. Does look a little bit redneck but I have more important things to worry about!

Kuryakyn has Transformer boards for Goldwings. You would have to make mounts but they would work for your needs.
