I swear, as I have said before, I couldn't find a black/red east of Albuquerque when I bought mine, and for $4000 no less.  Sixlow is probably already on his way down there... That one is real clean looking with a few nice options to boot. Good buy for somebody..bad for me though!

looks like this guy prefers to make $500 more than what the dealer will give him in a trade and give someone else a good deal. Win / Win situation for seller and buyer.
Really not the norm so just give it some time and yours will eventually sell.
You have the advantage that your bikes are up to date will all services and in great shape which means a lot to someone that knows this bikes.
Last month I got to meet the guy that bought Bob's red and black interstate and one the reasons he chose to buy the bike was the good report about you from fellow VRCC members.

This one for sure is a killer deal, don't think it will last at that price

IF someone does not jump on it quick, I am sure one of the dismantlers will get it part it out

Every time I see a good deal on a Black/Red Interstate, I remember you wanted that color combo and could not find one.

I agree Bert, I see allot of "giving them away" If I could get a fair price mine would be gone for sure. That would help fund my new take it to the grave motorcycle. The price they are bringing now is just not worth parting with.

About the red black, I remember frothing at the mouth early on knowing Grumpy and i said how i liked it. He must have seen me salivating as his response was "its not for Sale".  

    Did not think i would remember that huh?  It was at Hess out back.

It might be because it was the first Valkyrie I ever saw. A beautiful, brand new, Red/Black I/S. When I first met Bill, Shrimps R Us several years ago, he showed it to me and it was love at first sight. I understand you missing it Bill.

Dammit... I have to say that effing pisses me off.   I called this afternoon to tell Art I'd bring him cash money tomorrow morning and he said he'd sold it 10 minutes earlier. I've been wanting a black and red IS forever.  Ah well.
