Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Thanks for posting this Wayne, and thanks to the others for the good wishes. Actually, the 50yrs is only the "married" part of our being together. We started dating during the Summer of 1960 while in High School, so our 60th anniversary of being together is only 5yrs down the road. WOW, time flies when you're having fun.

Congrats Doug and Linda for enduring each other for the long stretch. We all know it was sweet and easy the whole way. LOL  I'm at my 44th this August and we were together for four years before we hitched up so we're right behind ya. Folks ask us what the secret is and we smile and tell'em "separate vacations".

Congratulations, Doug and Linda! It takes a lot of work and give-and-take to make a marriage work for that many years. You two are to be commended. Hope you're doing something fun to commemorate it. Enjoy!
