Mother's Day was a real...........well it was a muthu alright

Got a hood new hinges, front lock and painted so by the end of the week I was
back on the road. IT is good to have a terrific mechanic and body man as a client

Yesterday I took down the built in table (it went from the grill about 10 feet to the frame out for the steps) on the deck and removed all the charred wood except for about 4 of the vertical 2x2s
and pulled all the nails  64 of them yeah I counted  only 2 flew off into the ground out of site  I am sure someday I will step on them

Later its off to Home Depot to look at a natural gas grill   and get a 1x12x 6 and some 1 inch square pieces to replace the burned ones
I was able to cut down some on hand wood for the rest of the pieces
Whether I will replace the wood planters that were on the outside of the deck is in the air
I dont want em they are a PIA The wife is sorta seeing it my way at the moment

This morning I set about getting the side of the pool cleared away  I had 2 old solar covers setting in back of the ornamental grasses sitting in front of the pool and 2 old winter covers plus the left over
winter cold frames  Then I cut back all the young trees growing in the past month or so

I laid out one over my back garden to kill all the weeds as I have not planted that garden yet
The front and side gardens are in full swing

It looks like I will be replacing about half of the wood panels as I had replaced the other half 5 yrs ago when we got the current liner.  The pool store no longer works on above ground pools so I am asking clients if they have any idea how to get this done and will pay one or barter the job which will get done probably when I return from Inzane

The wood panels have been there for 26 years We got the pool when Stacy was born so I suppose even marine plywood doesnt last forever !

No riding today, I rode yesterday both bikes  Thanks Stan for returning my call,  even if it was late   cooldude

Cant wait for Tuesday so I can relax at work just a few court cases and 2 closings

EDIT

Bought the Weber 3 burner natural gas grill They will have it in stock and assembled wed.
funny but I brought my 2x2 with me but the dimensions of the ones they have these days are smaller

Going to check my local lumber yard Tuesday before work  Would hate to need to replace all of those vertical pieces (about 20 of them)
