Got a call from O2S  said calling direct Americas Best Value yielded rooms not showing online and just scored 2 queen bed no smoking room for June 6th

I think Robin, Judy and NJF6Cowboy may stay thereabouts as well

Anyone else interested in riding thru Nebraska on 20  and coming to Spearfish thru the black hills y'all have 12 days to let us know

You could not PAY me to take 90 westbound but I will take it eastbound in the early morning on the way back so I can meet up with a retired CHP/ Marine friend  in DesMoines if he can remember
to take his 02 with him this time

I may recommend Hungry's Restaurant and Bar in Dakota City for supper. Right down the road from your Hotel. Dakota City is like a suburb of S. Sioux City. Great steaks and salad bar.

Across the river in Sioux City is the Hard Rock Casino and hotel. My daughter works at the buffet restaurant. A number of other restaurants and bars/nightlife on 4th St.

Depending on when you arrive, you could make it to Bob's Bar in Martinsburg Nebraska. 25 miles away.
Kind of the epic burger place in the area. Kind of the iconic burger/biker mecca in the summer. Martinsburg has a population of maybe 100 or less. The bar looks like it should be condemned, the servings are colossal. And it's cheap. $4 for a burger or thereabouts. If you do go there note that a burger and fry order will fill 2 people easy.

+1 on Bob's bar, It's a hidden gem of the locals. Classic dive with great eats.

Can't Wait! Can't Wait! Can't Wait! Can't Wait! Can't Wait! Can't Wait! Can't Wait!

As OSS knows, I'm very easy going when I'm on vacation.  Wherever the others feel like dining is just fine with me.  I know everyone has different budgets and likes so I just go with the flow.

Very cool that we got a room at the same joint.

Tailgate Tommy

I also have a room there on the 6th!

I've got my route reconfigured now.  Will join you in South Sioux City on the 6th for the big ride in on the 7th on 20.

ETA about 6PM, maybe earlier depending on when my friends get sick of me in Rochester, MN.

We'll figure out our dinner plans if folks don't come traipsing in too late.  :2funny: Sounds like our little group be building up a tad mite!  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Just made reservations at the America's Best Value in South Sioux City.

I'll be on my silver/blue Interstate with the Republic of Texas and Texas A&M flags on the luggage rack.  Looking forward to it.  :cooldude:

This is what my bike looks like in case you done forgot.

I had to leave the waitress in Missoula Montana when I finished dinner.  Doubt she was old enough to even drink a beer legally
You can see her friend going back to work in the background.
It was a good dinner for a Hooters..........

Careful, Gary.  We don't like to say hooters and tushy in the same thread.   >:(  We do have our standards, after all.
