My wife and I finally got a chance to ride together on our Valkyrie. She kept commenting how quiet and smooth it rode. We rode about 100 mile round trip from our house to Lynchburg, Tn and back. While in Lynchburg, several people came up and asked what kind of bike it was and other stuff about it. One guy couldn't believe it had 6 carbs and another one wanted to hear it running. My wife told him sure if he would take our picture on it. He couldn't believe how quiet it was and said it sounded like a Porsche to him. He was really impressed when I told him it was a 1998 model. He thought it was new. So here is the picture he took of us on the Fat Lady. I am so happy my wife enjoyed it. Now if we can get a babysitter for the weekend, we might can take it to the mountains.

Addiction? What constitutes an addiction? Just because I now have 2 Interstates and they are number 11 and 12 of my Valkyries, would you then assume that I am addicted? I'm not addicted......I'm sick!!! (But in a good way) LOL  Psycho, ya'll are gonna love your Valkyrie life from this day on.....welcome.  gary

Thanks y'all.  Looking forward to many new adventures. First thing she said while in Lynchburg was she couldn't buy anything and tote it home. Looks like I will be either shipping it home or break down and get some saddlebags.

Congratulations on your new Valk Steve.  cooldude

Your experiences with onlookers like this will continue and repeat many times over. Just part of the whole Valk experience mate!

Smooth and quiet. That's what I love about my Valk too!

Yes...at restaurants, gas stations, wherever.

First you notice them staring, then they'll start to walk over...

Maybe a 10 minute delay in getting to your destination, but it's always fun! Smiley

Great looking Valkyrie!  Looks immaculate.  Do post a photo a year from now and show off your customizations! cooldude
