Well I finally did it. I sold my last Valkyrie. I have had three of them over the course of about 15 years. Had two at a time for a long while. I ended up buying an F6B back in May of 2013. Just an AMAZING bike. I had to make myself ride the Valkyrie just to keep her in shape. With the addition of a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am to the garage and the two bikes, it was time for her to go to someone who would ride her full time. It didn't take long either. She was on Craig's list about a week when a guy called, came over and put a deposit down. She was gone 3 days later. I took most of the chrome goodies off and I am going to sell them separate, so keep a look out, I have some stuff you can't get anymore. I will still visit this site as it is at times, very entertaining. LMAO!  cooldude

Well Chuck, I got to sit on your f6b when I was out at BigBf's last April and it sure
was comfortable    Liked the windscreen also think it was custom

Next time I get out your way maybe you will let me take it for a spin?

I rode 2 days ago a new 15' F6B deluxe with cruise, passenger backrest, self canceling turn signals, and heated grips.  Oss, you might want to re-think riding one or you will be hooked as well for sure.  Our Valks do not stand a chance vs. that beast in performance but looks the old Valk still wins hand down in my eyes.

I read that post, despite my normal practice, and for a moment found myself wondering what a fifteen foot F6B is.   Wink

As cookiedough said, it could be an expensive test ride. The F6B is super in the handling, performance and braking and with a custom seat and windscreen I am now hooked. Next time you're out here Oss! cooldude

It did take a few miles to get use to the turns as not use to the fairing not moving into the turn as my old Valk I/S does, but the fixed fairing I got use to, just was a little weird/wobbly the first few turns.  Redlining 1st gear at 6-6.5k rpms just guessing around 40 mph and past 60 mph in 2nd gear sure was fun for a test ride!  Who needs a 4th and 5th gear?   2funny

The Honda dealer did say they are starting to see some 2013 used F6B's coming in on trade, one red 2013 F6B soon he said,  for the owner really, really wants not offered in 2013 the electronic cruise control now offered.    Give it a few years, and am sure there will be some nice, low mileage, ones to pick from on the market for say 11-12K.  Good deal if you ask me for what you get assuming the 1st owner tricks it out with taller windshield, possibly aftermarket seat, hwy. pegs,  and the deluxe package options such as rear passenger backrest,  heated grips, and self cancelling turn signals.  (except cruise).

I still think there is way too much cheap plastic on it to be considered a classic over time, but what vehicle made nowadays doesn't have cheap plastic on it as well?
