Google has a photo uploading service now... photos.google.com

It is super easy to use, but not straightforward WRT how to get a link to
the image, rather you get kind of a link to html with the photo in it...

I fiddled around with it some and I think I got a (static?) link with "right click view photo"...

If it works, here's me when they sent me to Boston to talk to girls and drink coffee...

If it doesn't work, you'll just have to take my word for it  cooldude

Yes, it worked. Even your nametag says "Mike"; so it MUST be you!

Purple (whispering): Watch out, Grey, Mike is trying to talk to us again!
Grey (whispering, not moving lips): I know, just smile at that person on the other side of the room, and pretend you can't hear him!

I cannot comprehend why this site cannot upgrade to allow for us to post photos directly like every other site in the land.  It is extremely difficult to post photos on this site, and even if you are successful, only about half of them actually come through.  Most of them are just a square with a little X in the middle of them.  I post photos on the Valkyrie FaceBook site all the time.  It's simple.

The annual budget for this site is $1.98...

The annual budget for spacebook is more than that.

I belong to seven (7) other forums about firearms and motorcycles. NONE of them allow somebody to post photos directly.

I used to be the webmaster for a saltwater aquarium forum and we briefly DID allow users to post photos directly on our site. It was an administrative nightmare and made the forum many times more difficult to keep running smoothly, we eventually had to strip all the photos out when we migrated to a new host, they were just too big.

Having said that I just wish the admins here would enable Tapatalk for easier mobile device usage (Yeah yeah, beat that dead horse, I know...)

I belong to other bike forums and one can post images directly. Size is restricted.

Some of the signature images memebers have here are way too big. IMO

But it's not my forum and I'm happy with the cost of membership.

The numbers are a bit off, but the concept is probably meaningful.  We pay a lot more than we should for the site.  We are able to keep as much history as we do because we don't store images within the message boards.  That is why you can go back a long, long time and still find a conversation you almost remember.

I personally don't understand the insistence of how difficult picture posting is.  I find it very easy myself.

Whatcha got there Bro?

Little Suzuki M50. Fun little bike to ride. Got to do something with the pipes. Too loud. Must be getting old. Not really, it drowns out my headset music. Ordered a set of stock exhaust for it. Well not ordered, but found a good used set on E Bay. Since having the Wing I enjoy the piece and quite.
