Well, there's no chance of snow! I sure hope the weather pattern clears up after the weekend.

Years ago Cheeto and I rode down into reservation territory in Chinle AZ on the ol' Shadow.  Hit the fiercest steady winds I've ridden in two-up, literally required a constant hard lean.  Told her later that evening I was glad it didn't suddenly let up all at once or we would have fell flat over!

I wore my jeans tht had a rip in the crotch on my way to sturgis. Winds were so bad in SD tht it ripped down past my knee by the time we stopped for the night in Winner.  coolsmiley

Last year in Asheville, it was supposed to rain the entire week. I was in one rainstorm during that week of riding. So, remember that forecasts aren't that accurate and we'll probably have plenty og good riding weather.

True but a lot pop up every day up thr. It is the 'rainy' season in the Hills. If it does storm, expect hail. Rarly been in a storm there without hail. 15 min and there gone.

Hail, Yes!
Beat the crap outta me in Aug 2012 near Casper WY on my brand new Victory CCT, then some nice people let me sit in their van until the storm passed...  angel

The sickening sound of hail beatin my brand-new fueltank and trunk lasted ~ 1/2 hr, miraculously, I never found a dent or scratch  ???

http://rapidcityjournal.com/webcams/

The one for spearfish is west of Ground 0 a few miles. Still might be able to see Valks rolling on the road or in Sturgis.

I just saw on TV where Blackhawk, SD has 2" hail yesterday!  That's on I-90, about a half hour from Spearfish.  It's been a wet spring in this part of the country, but hopefully we'll catch a break next week.
