...So we do we Russ...and believe me we tried to figure out a way, but unfortunately its just not in the cards..

.....Mark...Thats the road that leads up to and through the Needles Highway, Im trying to think of the road, but drawing a blank. But I,ll tell ya the route we took. First we hit Devils Tower, which is very cool. Tourist attraction on one side and the Indians believe its the entrance to Heaven for them and they worship on the other side.

...We rode on and came around the bend and this slowly came into site. I had seen it so many times in History books, and it seemed almost surreal to see it in person.

...Then we rode on and saw Crazy Horse Monument that is only half finished. This shot is from about a mile away.

...We then rode on and hit The Needles, which is a narrow road that leads through multiple tunnels in these mountains that are jagged and aim at the sky, hence the name.....Needles....this was a VERY cool experience..

...That is where we came upon that shot of Mt Rushmore off in the distance. They eventually dump you out in Custer National Park, where I can tell you first hand....Watch out for the buffalo ! ....Thats us on the left hand side making a quick get away, after this mother chased us off !

....Eventually we made our way to "The Bad Lands"...this in my opinion is the coolest place in this area. And by cool I dont mean temperature, it was 115 degrees the day we rode through, but man was it ever worth it ! All I can say is if you do the Bad Lands, make sure you have at least half a day, because you,re going to want to back track and explore. The best way I can describe it .... like riding on Mars. Oh Yeah.....Watch out for the rattle snakes ! ..

....these are the coolest sites I can recommend. Also, if you do hit Deadwood, be sure to check out Wild Bill Hickocks and Calmity Janes grave sites. They are right in town...so I am told...again, we had to miss out on these great sites because the people who were leading the ride refused to stop any where.
...Good Luck on the ride, this is going to be a truly GREAT Inzane and I am very sorry we are going to miss it..
