Hmmm... Leather or mesh?

When riding two up this is always my big dilemma.  Looks like plenty rain on our Saturday launch.  I've done trips both ways, and almost always seem to regret my choice at one time or another.  I'm thinking mesh, a thin soft shell fleece, my heated liner and Frog Toggs.  All combined I'm pretty sure those weigh less than my cowhide.  Would like to wear my half shell, but with the rain and need for the intercom it's full face. 

No matter what you're wearing to Inzane, I hope it's comfortable and your ride is safe.

I have a REALLY nice pair of airfoil goggles in clear that go over my prescription glasses quite well. As all of us are aware rain hurts the eyelids at over 40 M P H or so. So do dust and hail. Taking my mesh with the liner a couple of long sleeve T-craps and one thermal top. Been in the rain before-the rain AIN'T gittin no cherry with me!  Stay safe out there and we will see you in Spearfish!  RIDE SAFE.

A combination of Mesh with strategic crash pads, heated Gerbing liner and waterproof jacket has kept me warm down to the high 30's.

I wear leather. When it rains the Sterns rain gear goes on over a sweatshirt if needed. Depending on the length of the rain its a bandana on my head or Novelty helmet with bandana or tube over my face.

I have a Joe Rocket Blaster 4.0 perforated leather with removable liner.  Will start out on a cool morning with the liner, then remove it if it gets to warm.  The jacket does weigh more than a textile type jacket, but not nearly as heavy as my full leather.  And it has back, shoulder, and elbow built in as well.

I've had the same dilemma this year, but have settled on the mesh touring jacket while also taking a heated vest.  I've pulled the cold weather gear out of the saddle bags.

I'm wearing the armored mesh and bringing the rain liner, might pack the quilted liner also.  You never know it might get chilly.  Wife will be in her GirlGear Jacket and has her rain gear also. I overheat too easy, so I don't break out the leather until it stays below 45.  Probably pack her leather chaps.  She gets cold easier than I do.  Modular helmets because of the bluetooth intercoms.

With the weather in Colorado, Wyoming and SD the way it is right now I'm leaning toward scuba gear!
