I am running two onces in my Michelin, and have been for over 7000 miles. No shakes or vibrations.

Please go to the dyna bead web site.  I wanted to use dyna beads for my car tire, but the bead people said not to.  It seems that the car tire is too wide for the sidewall height, causing the beads to spread out too much.  Because a motorcycle tread is much rounder than a car tire, the beads can concentrate near the centerline of the tire, allowing them to balance the tire.  They work, but I only use them on my front tire.

Why bother?  A car tire is so much better made than a m/c tire that you won't have a problem.  35 k now on the darkside without balancing a rear tire.

The issue is lateral balance in low profile car tires. Many balance out just fine with the beads but some don't balance laterally. All tires balance out radially with beads alone. One approach is to balance wide, low profile, tires is to first balance using traditional lead weights for lateral balance and then add beads to dynamically fine tune the balance and maintain it for the life of the tire. If your goal was to get rid of wheel weights the this might not appeal to you at all. The previous information can be gleaned from the Innovative Balancing web site somewhere.
