Disney, yesterday, told scores of engineers, you are fired.  You may elect to stay on and receive a severance package, but you must train your replacement.  Who, by the way is from India, here on a special work visa for companies if they can't find qualified workers.  The intent of this legislation was to fill vacancies in areas where there was a need for specialized workers!   I was there once many years ago. And I swore, if I ever got out of there, I would never go back!  Now all the more reason. Screw you W.D.

Update.. According to the New York Times, it was 250 employees.  Senator Bill Nelson is looking into the matter, saying Disney may have violated the visa law which Disney used to bring in the Indian replacements.

More From India, some more I will hang up on. Seems like half of the companies that solicit over the phone use them.  Disney will not be seeing any of my money.
