The Federal Govt which has "Tomahawk" cruise missiles and "Apache", "Blackhawk", "Kiowa", and "Lakota" helicopters.....and used the code name "Geronimo" in the attack that killed Osama Bin Laden......... officially objects to the of the "Washington Redskins".

Big difference between those honorable names/words and redskins. Why not use yellow man missles, or wop gun, or cammel jockey truck, maybe a dago mortar, kike copter. I kind of like zipper head parachute, or fag mines. Ya, I thought about it. Redskin is a derogatory term. BTW I'm a Florida State Siminoles, Chicago BlackHawks, and Fighting Illini fan.

Well, the current Federal Government hates and knows absolutely nothing about the military, much less any weapons names the military uses. But since it's currently politically correct and it furthers their agenda of dividing the populace, yeah, they're gonna go after something they deem as offensive. It seems anymore that everyone in the entire country purposely goes out of their way to find something to be offended about. I'm offended by their perpetual offensiveness.  |

AWW shut up BF get in line and get over it........(sarcasm) that's what we used to be able to tell anyone that was weasel enough to actually complain out loud about being offended.......The country was a much better place when it wasn't cool or even acceptable to complain about being offended...you just got over it..............

So basically, America went to hell in a hand basket the minute they cancelled Leave it to Beaver.  But yes, I agree with the article.....the country is totally bassackwards these days. Right is wrong and wrong is now right in the new Sodom and Gomorrah that our liberal paradise of a country has become. Ain't it great?

Maybe I'm just getting old or maybe it from years of white privilege or maybe its just my sticks and stones upbringing, but I feel sorry for folks whose psyches are so fragile that they cannot withstand words and must be protected. Such power they give their foes.
