...First saw that bike at the warehouse...in the crate.
Told the dealer that I wanted one "new in the crate",
because I didnt want one that everyone had been throwing
a leg over in the showroom. They called me up and said...
.....your bike is in....took me to the warehouse and showed
me an open crate and said....there she is...to which I replied..
....build her. She will always be with me and dear to my heart.
Without a doubt....the best bike I ever owned..  cooldude

...And thanks Trace for Honoring her...you are a sweet heart..  cooldude

Timberwolf, You need to print your previous post and provide it to the new owner so that this provenance stays with the bikes history. The story is too good to let it die. Think of the provenance established with DDT's Ali and it's inherent value. All you semi-famous stars of the VRCC might ought to consider when letting your bikes go to new owners. It's not just a Valkyrie but a Valkyrie with a story. It could also be a Valkyrie with a story of not only the rides but of the possible leadership of one of the best motorcycle clubs on the planet.

....I agree Valkjerk, unfortunately I didnt sell her, she went down after
experiencing a rear flat back on May 1st, and the last time I saw her,
a Harley boy was riding her up the back of a flatbed truck as they
towed her off to the scrap yard. I prefer to remember her in this photo
that Trace used for her calendar.....back in her glory daze.  cooldude
