I planned on spending most of this week at Inzane, but some family issues nearly forced a complete cancellation.  I only had a single night available, so I left the house in Colorado at 6:30 Tuesday morning and rode 500 miles straight, only stopping for gas.  Thanks to great weather, light traffic, and 80 MPH speed limits in Wyoming and South Dakota, I arrived only 7.5 hours later.  I was lucky enough to get a room at GZ and spent the afternoon and evening enjoying the company of many in the VRCC.

On Wednesday morning the weather forecast had taken a turn for the worse.  I headed out early to avoid as many afternoon thunderstorms as I could and made it home by 1:30 PM.  So my Inzane  trip was only 31 hours, 15 of which were spent riding to and from Spearfish.  As they say, it's about the ride!

I had a great time and am happy I was able to make it.  Thanks to those in the VRCC who put in so much time to make Inzane happen.  Spearfish was an excellent choice, with some of the best roads I've ever ridden nearby.

Even though I only had 16 hours in Spearfish, I took a few pictures at GZ for those who couldn't make it.

The Holiday Inn was a great GZ hotel.

Not every lobby has a new Valkyrie!

BF, busy as usual.

Daniel, preaching about maintenance.

Just hanging out.

Wow!  That's hard-core dedication right there!

I'm guessing you will be the only one to have done a blitzkrieg like that!

Gary, thanks for your concern.  Thankfully things turned out OK.  My mom had a cardiac scare that put her in the hospital last weekend, but it turned out to be a med and pacemaker issue.  Then my son decided to travel here last night for a friend's wedding, and I didn't want to miss seeing him.  So that only left me with enough time to ride to Spearfish for one night.  I had an awesome time.  I couldn't ask for more!
