Just picked up some Kury Longhorn highway pegs. I did my research on what size would fit without mods done. 1" was the size so I went with it. Come to find out there are 2 sizes to the bar. Now I'm limited a little on where I can place the pad.
I tried back a little and was comfy but I got a nasty cyclone of hot air behind the heads. Cooked the back of my calf to the point I couldnt use it. Now I have them top and forward as much as possible. Pretty good there and no motor heat, just fresh air. The issue I have with them there is that I cant angle them inward. It feels like my feet might slip off the outside of the peg. Its been better as I get used to it.
Where have you installed yours??? Recommendations?

Mine are back a little. I use high boots which helps keep the heat off.

yeah I do like the position where they are. I'm 6'2 with my work boots (riding boots). I think I just need to finagle a couple mm inward.I might back them up a 1/2 inch and see. Love the fit of them. Super glad I got them. Just ordered the chrome tranny covers. Cant wait until they show up!
