"Oh say can you SEE" with real feeling for OUR National Anthem, and is from Kentucky. Good people live in our states. States should have their own say.  However, thats' not always the case.  good and bad results from the Feds interfering. A state like Texas under siege for flying the Confederate Flag (never mind the vets from Texas, or the big accomplishments that Texas has done),   A state like Indiana that doesn't deny the citizen's right to "Keep and Bear Arms". I could go on and on ,state after state that knows what's best for the citizens of that state.   States Rights should prevail, common sense tells us that.

And then we have the Federal government who is sticking it's powerful nose into states business and screwing it up.  A government whose primary purpose is to 'provide for the Common defense" and can't even do that right.  A government who doesn't know or cares that there were three branches of government conceived to provide checks and balances. A government that I have come to believe that thinks that the Constitution is a "Living Document" that is to be construed as 'change where necessary to fit" A government that talks about the rule of law but ignores it.

I still would like to believe that the people, who think like the blind girl singing OUR Anthem, still outnumber those who trash our heritage, our FLAG, and our country.  I have immense faith that we will do the Right thing as states, if we are free from the musings, regulations, and regimentation of our strayed Federal government in Washington DC.

I would sincerely hope that we can prevail and bring order to the chaotic government we now have.

Votes do count.
