Where to begin!
Closed on a house last week and spent the night for the first time Monday night. Still got to get couches and a few things out of the old house. Luckily its only 2 miles away! Traded in a old farm house on 220 ac to a 3/4 house in a housing addition.  Shocked Dad 'says' he is retiring from the RR this summer. I asked if he wanted to move back in and he did. I moved in when the G parents died. At least im 2 miles away so can still help with field work. House is still in the country and behind my Vol FD, so I can finally make a truck! Day 1 I worked in the garage painting and making a work bench. Actually I been out there all week. My great GF has done everything indoors which I'm grateful for.  cooldude I have a pool now to that I hope to open this weekend if it ever stops raining. Severe flooding around here this week.
May 31st I went to 12 hr night shifts at work. Takes a little to get use to after working 24hr shifts for 17 yrs. Work construction during the day and EMS at night.  uglystupid2 Loved my 24 hr shifts. Oh well it is what it is.
Wrecked the bike in April and got my insurance check a few weeks ago. Took all the tins off to get painted and dropped them off at the painters. A whole new color! A huge thx to sandy in AZ for getting me a front fender.  cooldude  cooldude With all this house stuff going on I haven't been riding much.  Cry I would have several thousand miles on by now. I may have put on a 1000 so far. Only place I went to was a bike night at a local biker bar near the GF house.
No internet at the new house yet. Only get a chance at work which aint much. Glad everyone had fun at IZ. We're heading back to Sturgis leaving July 24th and home via WY Aug 9th.

Glad things are going well for you.

Sorry to hear about the crash, I take it you came out of it unharmed?

I always liked the paint on your bike.  Will need picks when you get it back
together.

We are heading out to Cody Wyoming in July.  Looking forward to that.

Have a fun time in Sturgis.

Ill get some pix around. Said it will be done late next week. Uninjured, just all bike. $3000 in parts. Didn't look that bad but hard to match the paint so getting it all redone. Smacked a 4'x4' roof off a chicken coop at 60-65 mph. I was on the way to a HD dealer.  Grin
Have fun in Cody. We'll be there Aug 2nd-ish for 2 days.

Like Hal, first I heard of your crash but then I'm not on the board as much as in the past. If you need a place to spend the night while crossing Illinois let me know, the front bedroom is available.
