Just thought I'd share my experience with the new trailer.
The trailer is a Lumina, sold by theusatrailerstore.com.
When I placed my order, the company sent me several emails and called me several times to arrange the delivery of the trailer. Delivery went very smooth.
It arrived on a pallet unassembled, but assembly was pretty simple. Just had to bold the rack on, bolt the tongue on, bold the axles and wheels on.
The diamond aluminum had lots of sharp edges so I did spend some time smoothing those out.
The trailer comes with all of paperwork needed to register and plate it.
It did not come with bolts for the license plate, I went to the hardware store for those.
It came with a free swivel coupler. The coupler slides into the tongue, but it was a lose fit, so I made some plastic shims. Also, it was just slightly narrower than the receiver itself, so I had to add some thin washers to keep the bolts from compressing the receiver, which was preventing the mechanism from working correctly.
The cooler is from canyoncoolers.com. It fits perfect on the rack and has the ability to be strapped down and latches for the lid. Would be even better if it had a drain though.
The trailer does not have a place for a spare, so I put the spare inside the trailer.
To keep things from moving around I went to the hardware store and got some 1 1/4" perforated angle and bolted it down each side using the bolts that hold the trailer to the frame. This provides lots of anchor points for bungee cords and tie downs.
The trailer doesn't come with any interior lights. I was able to find an under cabinet light that rotates and mounted the light to the underside of the lid.
I have pulled the trailer about 500 miles now and it pulls nicely. Fully loaded with the tires at 20-25psi seems to work well.
