Just ordered Cobras from Jake Wilson also (this morning, in fact), 180/70-17 & 200/60-16 for $309 & No Shipping.  They are hard to beat on tires and service...Jim Smiley

why the odd size not OEM sizing?

Jake Wilson is where I got my last set of Avon cobra's from as well 4 years ago, the price of the Avon's could not be beat.  This time I used Chaparral Racing and can get a set of Shinko SE890 Journey's for I think it was 236 bucks total for both front and rear.  I think rear was 126 and front around 110.    Going the cheapest route this time since the Avon Cobra's lasted only 10K miles on rear tire which I guess for some is not bad and hoping for 9-10K out of the cheaper Shinko's.  If not, then next time going rear tire bias ply Michelin Commander II.  Still undecided on front tire though.
