I watched some bikini chicks wash a dudes custom bike in Sturgis. Wondered why anyone would allow a couple air head bimbos to "clean" a $40,000 bike. When the bimbos scratched his tank and peeled half his custom paint ( appliqué) off, custom guy went ape He was gonna sue everyone for damages blah blah blah while the bimbos stood there with their natural blank looks ??? Ahh, Sturgis, always a hoot!

no thanks on that biker babe wash. She did it all wrong just washing the tank over and over again going to cause scratching for sure. Plus, she washed herself more than the bike, totally wrong.

I am in Denver these days. another 5 weeks. It sounds like you had a nice adventure going and returning from InZane. I envy you. I thought I might make it but...........it just didn't work out.

I always trailer the bike to my wife's mom's in Iowa then I ride it to where ever InZane is held as she can't ride. So we got home late after driving all day back to Colorado so I was tired. I was backing the bike off the trailer and didn't push it back fast enough to get it far enough off the trailer ramp to get it flat on the ground. Basically I got it stuck with the front wheel up on the ramp and the back wheel on the blacktop and down it went. I guess between the Austone and Ultimate big boy seats extra height I ran out of leg length. Along with the scratched up bag and fairing, I bent the peg and brake pedal, the ISO grip, broke the mirror, scratched up the crash bars, front fender slightly dented etc. I have an appointment on Friday at the local Honda dealer to get an estimate and I filed a claim with Foremost. I'm thinking the best bet is to get a check from the insurance company and fix it myself.
