Weathers been hot (for the mountains, 90ish) and scattered rain occurring so I figured I'd get out early to defeat the weather Gods.
Cruised out towards the town of Marshall, NC in Madison Co. along the French Broad river. Wore my Joe Rocket with no liner and it was perfect with overcast skies.
This is a small town, maybe 5 blocks of downtown and that's it; but it does have a cool looking old courthouse!
Left out headed back towards the ranch and just took backroads until I had no fricking idea where I
was, turned on the GPS and it took me thru some beautiful roads I'd never been on back home.
All in all, just a few hours but a nice ride and made it in before the rains hit!
